Baker was manager of Leek Town before joining Crewe

Crewe assistant manager Neil Baker says it is vital they continue their good home record if they are to avoid a relegation battle this season.

The Alex have won four of their home games this season, three of them in cup competitions, but are yet to win away.

Baker told BBC Radio Stoke: "We're not picking up points away so our home games become even more important.

"If we can take four or even six points from our next two home games then things will look better."
