Burnley goalkeeper Brian Jensen has told fans who boo the team and manager Brian Laws to stay away from Turf Moor.

Laws was barracked by the crowd for substituting winger Chris Eagles in the last home game against Wolves.

Jensen told BBC Radio Lancashire: "If you come in here to try and create trouble and boo, stay at home - there's no point.

"But everybody else who is standing behind us, we need you all the way to the end of the season."

Burnley remain deep in relegation trouble and are three points from safety going into Sunday's meeting with arch-rivals, Blackburn Rovers at Turf Moor.

Despite that, Jensen has played down the game's significance, adding: "Everybody is building it up and I'm trying to keep it down on the ground.

"Yes, it's a local derby but it's three points to play for, we need to treat it as another game - it doesn't matter who we're playing, it's three points."
