Bohemians scorer Paddy Madden holds off Linfield's Steven Douglas
Paddy Madden scored the only goal at Windsor Park to give Bohemians a 3-1 aggregate win over Linfield in the semi-finals of the Setanta Sports Cup.
Bohs, 2-1 up from the first leg, got their fifth-minute score when Paul Keegan's ball set up Madden to go through and shoot past Alan Blayney.
Linfield, inaugural winners in 2005, had their chances in the second half.
Madden cleared from Michael Gault, Robbie Garrett had a shot saved and Paul Munster flashed one wide.
Bohemians, the League of Ireland champions, will now play St Pat's Athletic in an all-Dublin final on 15 May.
The visitors were on top in the first half and could have doubled their lead but keeper Blayney did well to palm away Raffaele Cretaro's header.
Linfield's best chances were a blocked Munster shot and a William Murphy header which went wide.
Despite a better second half, Linfield could not crack the Bohs defence leaving David Jeffrey's men to concentrate on trying to win a fourth domestic league and cup double in five seasons.
Linfield's veteran defender Noel Bailie came on as a late substitute to make his 999th appearance for the Belfast club.
He could make his 1000th on Saturday at Crusaders when Linfield could clinch the Carling Premiership title.
