The Glens missed out on a place in the Setanta Sports Cup semi-finals after battling to a draw in Dublin.
Gary Hamilton gave the Irish League side a 51st minute lead with a header from Keith Gillespie's cross.
A win would have seen the Glens progress but Raphael Cretaro equalised with a low shot 10 minutes later.
Glentoran captain Paul Leeman was stretchered off with a serious knee injury before Gillespie volleyed just wide in the dying seconds.
