Emery Bayisenge has been called up to Rwanda's CHAN squad
Two members of Rwanda's U17 team have been named in the squad for next month's African Nations Championship (CHAN).
U17 captain Emery Bayisenge and star defender Faustin Usengimana have been named by coach Sellas Tetteh.
They have helped Rwanda reach the semi-final of the current U17 African tournament, which they are hosting.
In getting to the last four, Rwanda have also sealed a place at the U17 World Cup in Mexico later this year.
Bayisenge and Usengimana will be part of the U17 squad which takes on Congo Brazzaville in the semi-final of the African Championship on Wednesday.
The final of the tournament is on 22 January and they will be expected to join up with the rest of the CHAN squad two days later.
The CHAN, which is for locally-based players, takes place in Sudan in February and Rwanda have been drawn in the same group as Senegal, Angola and Tunisia.
