The career of Angolan forward Mateus Alberto Contreiras Gon�alves, more widely known as Manucho, is on the rise.
Having scored 31 goals in two seasons with club side Petro Atletico it wasn't long before Manchester United came sniffing.
The 24-year-old is due to join the English champions, subject to a work permit, having displayed enough in his three-week trial to earn a three-year contract.
He helped Angola qualify for the Nations Cup by scoring five times in 13 appearances and will play a huge part as the country builds towards hosting the finals in 2010.
