All the action from the Group C game at the African Cup of Nations.
Major goalflashes and incidents (all times GMT) will appear here from 1300:
1452: The referee blows for full-time and four-time winners Egypt go out of the 2004 Nations Cup.
1451: Geremi fires in a free-kick which forces Abdelwahed El Sayed into a difficult save and Ndiefi wins a corner from the rebound.
1450: Ahmed Fathi brings Olembe down near the Egyptian byline, which is precisely where Egypt don't want to be.
1449: El Tabeh hits a strike from 30 yards that fails to force Kameni into a save.
1448: There are four minutes of stoppage time to be added on, and Egypt must score or Zimbabwe must if the Pharaohs are not to go out of the tournament.
1447: Tarek Said wastes a cross from the left flank when in space. They have still failed to really trouble the Cameroon defence.
1446: Ndiefi bobbles a shot towards Abdelwahed El Sayed from 20 yards.
1442: Abdelwahed El Sayed hurts himself as he clears Geremi's cross whipped into his area. The keeper was under pressure from Idrissou as he looked to clear. Play is held up.
1441: Belal hits another long-range strike, which just dips over the bar as it loops towards goal from fully 30 yards out. One of Egypt's best efforts, yet the Pharaohs have still to really test Kameni as they seek a much-needed goal.
1440: Egypt still appear to lack the urgency needed to find a goal but they win a corner through Ahmed Belal, which comes to nothing after Ahmed Hassan volleys wide of Kameni's left-hand post from 20 yards.
1439: Cameroon make their final change as Pius Ndiefi replaces Samuel Eto'o, who has been very quiet.
1435: Mido slips away from two markers 30 yards out but blazes his left-footed strike over the bar.
1434: Pharaohs boss Mohsen Salah waves his team on as they look for that all-important goal.
1433: Idrissou tries to volley home a free-kick but the difficult attempt goes well wide of Abdelwahed El Sayed's goal.
1432: Mido wins an unlikely corner for Egypt after good work down the left flank. Defenders come up from the back but the ball drops to El Kabany who volleys well over the bar from the edge of the box.
1430: Algeria pull a goal back in Sousse, which means that they, rather than Egypt, are now the team to go through should the scores stay the same.
1429: Egypt's Hossam Ghali is booked.
1429: Zimbabwe have taken a two-goal lead against Algeria in Sousse, which means that if all scores stay the same then Cameroon and Egypt will both go through.
1427: Mido flicks on a free-kick but the header fails to go on target from eight yards out.
1425: Schaefer conveys news of Zimbabwe's goal in Sousse to his players.
1424: Tarek El Sayed hits the corner of post and bar with an angled drive on the left-hand side of the penalty area
1423: Zimbabwe take the lead against Algeria. Should Zimbabwe score another and the score stays goalless in Monastir, then Cameroon and Egypt, both four-time winners of the competition, would still go through to the last eight.
1421: Mohamed Idrissou comes on for Patrick Mboma as Schaefer makes a second substitution.
1421: Tarek El Sayed breaks down the left after a neat one-two with Tarek Said but his deep cross fails to pick out Mido in the Cameroon box.
1418: Another long throw from Geremi causes havoc in the Egyptian defence and again, Abdelwahed El Sayed has to tip over a glancing header from his own player as Abdel El Saka knocks the ball on goalwards.
1414: A finely-worked Egyptian move breaks down when Ahmed Fathi's cross fails to beat the first Cameroon defender.
1411: Salomon Olembe replaces Jean Makoun in the Cameroon midfield as Winfried Schaefer makes a change.
1409: The first few minutes of the second half have been all Egypt's as the Pharaohs look for the goal they know they must score to have any chance of reaching the quarter-finals.
1407: Tarek El Sayed fires in a dipping volley from some 25 yards which Kameni does well to get down low to block. The blistering strike is one of Egypt's best efforts all game.
1405: Ahmed Belal is immediately involved as he jinks down the left wing before sending in a curling cross that Mido just misses.
1403: Cameroon kick off the second half having made no changes to their line-up, while Egypt have replaced midfielder Tamer Abdel Hamid, who took a knock in Geremi's late tackle, with striker Ahmed Belal as they look for the win.
1349: The referee blows for half-time at the end of an enthralling period. Just one goal for Egypt would change the complexion of the game completely, while Cameroon still only need a point to qualify.
1348: Abdelwahed El Sayed rescues his defence when blocking Mboma's fierce drive after the Cameroon striker was gifted possession on the edge of the box.
1346: Egypt almost score a ludicrous own goal after Geremi's throw is flicked on by Wael El Kabany and Abdel El Saka draws a save from his own keeper. Cameroon are finally forcing some pressure on the Pharaohs' defence as the half nears its end.
1344: Ahmed Hassan volleys straight at Kameni from outside the box when surrounded by three defenders after being found by a brilliant first-time pass from the heart of the Egyptian midfield.
1344: The fourth official signals four minutes of stoppage time at the end of the half.
1339: Ahmed Fathi shoots wide of Kameni's right-hand post from just inside the penalty area after Egypt quickly break in the Cameroon half.
1337: Ahmed Fathi is played into the box by an exquisite ball from Hossam Ghali but Fathi can't keep the ball in play and there was a shortage of Egyptian players in the box even if he had done.
1335: Despite all their possession, Egypt have yet to get behind the Cameroon defence. Meanwhile, Mboma and Samuel Eto'o have rarely touched the ball at the other end.
1332: Geremi catches Tamer Abdel Hamid very late and the Cameroonian receives his first yellow card of the tournament. Abdel Hamid gets back gingerly to his feet.
1329: Song fires a loose ball straight at Egyptian keeper Abdelwahed El Sayed from 30 yards out, but the strike lacks venom.
1327: Egypt's Tarek Said is lucky to escape a booking for his late tackle on Geremi.
1326: Geremi fires a long-range free-kick at goal but his Beckham-like attempt just fails to bend round into the top right-hand corner.
1325: Song takes the free-kick near the Cameroon penalty spot given Kameni's injury.
1325: Play has yet to restart with Kameni receiving treatment in the Cameroon goalmouth.
1321: Egypt win a free-kick in a dangerous position, and as Mido challenges with Kameni to meet a whipped cross in the Egyptian catches the Cameroon keeper very late. A pack of Indomitable Lions surround Mido who is correctly booked, despite his protests, for his late tackle. Should Egypt reach the quarter-finals, the forward will now miss the tie given his earlier yellow card in the tournament.
1318: Ahmed Fathi nutmegs Atouba and the Egyptian fans in the crowd roar their approval.
1315: Timothee Atouba fires in a brilliant free-kick from range which the Egypt defence does well to glance behind for a corner. From the corner, Mettomo heads Atouba's cross wide.
1313: Mido injures himself when challenging Kameni for a loose ball in the box and is stretchered off, looking in some discomfort.
1310: A well-worked Egyptian move ends with Ahmed 'Mido' Hossam neatly played in by Ahmed Fathi but the tall Marseille striker, who has been disappointing at Tunisia 2004, snatches at his strike which dribbles towards Cameroon goalkeeper Idriss Kameni.
1307: Mboma misses a golden opportunity when Geremi's free-kick is flicked on inadvertently by Egyptian defender Abdel El Saka, but the tournament's top scorer sidefoots his volley over the bar as he stretches to connect on the edge of the six-yard box.
1305: Cameroon's Patrick Mboma has his first run on goal, but Abdelwahed El Sayed comes out quickly and well to smother the danger.
1304: Egypt, wearing red shirts, white shorts and white socks, have started brightly, keeping Cameroon, in their traditional green shirts, on the back foot in the early exchanges.
1300: From the roars of the crowd, it is clear that the Pharaohs boast a sizeable number of supporters in the stadium.
1259: Egypt get the critical Group C clash in Monastir underway.
