All the action from the Group C game at the African Cup of Nations.

Major goalflashes and incidents (all times GMT)

1453: The final whistle sounds to ensure a deserved win for Zimbabwe, though Algeria still scrape through at the expense of Egypt.

1443: Wilfred Mugayi replaces Peter Ndlovu and has an immediate chance to score but blazes high over the crossbar.

1441: Algeria substitute Abdel Cherrad has a chance to equalise, but his header from eight yards is well saved by Tapuwa Kapini.

1436: Lapathla sprints clear down the left again but this time decides to cross low and Algeria survive.

1424: Algeria's response to falling behind is to throw on first-choice striker Abdel Cherrad for the ineffective Fares Fellahi.

Algeria 0-1 Zimbabwe
1422: From the corner, Adam Ndlovu finally finds the target as his downward header bounces in off a post from Joel Luphahla's corner. The goal is no more than Zimbabwe deserve.

1422: Peter Ndlovu's cross just fails to find brother Adam and Ahir is forced to head over his own crossbar.

1420: Fares Fellahi gets goalside of the Zimbabwe defence to win Algeria's first corner of the match after 62 minutes. The poor kick is hardly worth waiting for.

1417: Nasim Akrour snatches at a chance and fails to hit the target from a rare Algeria forward raid.

1415: Peter Ndlovu's pass sends Joel Luphahla clear down the right, but his cross is woeful with Adam Ndlovu waiting unmarked in the six yard box.

1410: Harlington Shereni's loose pass allows Madradin Kraouche to run into space, but he shoots well over the bar.

1408: A slow start to the second half sees neither side create any early opportunities.

1403: Zimbabwe get the second half under way, with both sides unchanged from the first half.

1318: Bhekithemba Ndlovu's cross is met by Harlington Shereni, but the Zimbabwe midfielder heads well over.

1312: Adam Ndlovu, making his first start of the competition, misses a golden opportunity to put Zimbabwe in front when he sidefoots wide with only the keeper to beat.

1311: Hocine Achiou goes down injured but Seychelles referee Eddy Maillet refuses to give a free-kick.
