Sport is one big family and a tragic loss affects us all in the game. Accidents do happen but it hurts most when carelessness whipes out a whole soccer team. To the families of the players who have passed on, take heart and may God give you the strength to handle this situation. To those in the hospital, I wish you a quick recovery and the best you can do is to continue from where your colleagues left. It is the greatest tribute you can give them.

Death, unheralded and untimely, is always a shock and tragic experience. If there are a people on the face of the earth who have the fortitude and heart to deal with tragedy and misery with the utmost diginity, by God, it's got to be the Mozambicans! Be assured of our ardent prayers in churches, temples, synagogues, mosques, Baha'i Centers, homes, and places of work. May you be blessed always!
