A confident, classy middle order batsman and fill-in slow bowler, Marlon Samuels will hope to have a more distinguished career than his brother Robert, who played a handful of matches for the West Indies in the mid 1990s.
So far yet to consistently match his promise with key performances, he averages a modest 28 in both Test and ODIs, but has chipped in with over 50 one-day wickets.
During the recent series in Pakistan, Samuels hit his second ODI ton, with 17 fours and a six in a 99-ball knock.
