Michael Vaughan was delighted with England's ruthless approach after they beat the West Indies by a record margin in the second Test at Headingley. England bowled out the tourists for just 141 on Monday to win the Test by an innings and 283 runs and take a 1-0 lead in the four-match series.
Vaughan said: "It's been a special week. I'm really pleased with the way we were ruthless in this Test match.
"We need to make sure that we play to similar standards at Old Trafford."
Ryan Sidebottom took four second innings wickets and Steve Harmison three as England picked up the seven wickets they needed amid constant interruptions for rain.

And Vaughan said: "Ryan showed what a good bowler he could be, and Steve Harmison produced what he knows he can produce on a flat pitch.
"Ryan was a great option. He bowled beautifully to the left-handers and was also moving it across the right-handers and bowling at decent pace.
"It's a great start for him, and he'll be looking forward to playing more games for us."
Sidebottom spent seven seasons playing at Headingley for Yorkshire and Vaughan quipped: "He certainly didn't swing the ball like that when he was at Yorkshire. I don't know what they have been doing with him at Notts!
Vaughan added: "I thought the other bowlers were a lot better than they were at Lord's.
"Harmison generated a lot of height and pace, and we're looking forward to giving the West Indies something to think about on a faster pitch at Old Trafford."

Batsman Kevin Pietersen said winning a Test again after the 5-0 winter whitewash in Australia was sweeter than his own double century, which paved the way for England's total of 570-7 declared.
"It was a hard winter, not a lot of enjoyment, but everyone can see we still enjoy our cricket - we still want to play the best we can," he commented.
"We want to make [the] opposition scared of this new England team, if you can call it that.
"We've got a lot of games to play and better opposition to come up against, but it's a sign that they've still got to have a look at us because of the way we played this Test match."
Pietersen remains third in the LG ICC Test batting rankings behind Australia captain Ricky Ponting and Pakistan's Mohammad Yousuf.
He has scored 2,448 runs in 25 Tests, a total exceeded by only Sir Don Bradman, and he is only the 21st player to pass 900 points in the rankings list.
