Smith to miss final Test
Devon Smith
Smith made an impact in the first Test against England
West Indies batsman Devon Smith has been sent home to Grenada to rest his injured left thumb.

Smith, who scored a century in the first Test against England, was ruled out of the Barbados match after the injury was confirmed as a fracture.

The opener will not be available for the fourth and final Test in Antigua nor the first one-dayer in Guyana.

A WICB statement read: "Smith has been advised to rest the injury for the next three weeks."

Smith's injury will be reassessed on 23 April, the day before the second limited-overs international in Trinidad.
