Division Two leaders Pentagon suffered their first defeat of the season as they were beaten by Centurions in Jersey's Indoor Cricket League.

Centurions batted first to score 161-5 in 12 overs with Danny Bertram hitting 67 not out, before reducing Pentagon to 71 all out in just 6.2 overs.

Earlier on Monday, Centurions beat Phoenix Knights, chasing down a target of 100 to win by three wickets.

Elsewhere, Jersey Seniors beat United Banks by two wickets.

In Division Three, Lutea Mavericks are now just three points behind leaders Walkovers B, after a five-wicket win over Jersey Post.

Jersey Post were all out for just 50 runs in 8.1 overs, as Alan Morris took three wickets for six runs.

Mavericks then chased down the target in six overs for the loss of just one wicket, Andy Rickets scoring 27 not out and Alan Morris hitting an unbeaten 23.
