Mahendra Dhoni found batting easier than many other players |
Wicket-keeper Mahendra Dhoni scored a stylish 88 to guide India to a 93-run victory in the Sri Lankan town of Kurunegala against a local XI. India were playing their last warm-up game before a triangular series with Sri Lanka and West Indies starts on Saturday, and scored 250 in 42.2 overs.
They then bowled out their young opponents for 157 in 36.2 overs.
Some Indian batsmen struggled but pace bowler Irfan Pathan took 3-20 during his new-ball burst on a slow pitch.
