Germany, Norway and Italy were pretty much neck-and-neck going into second shooting range of the second leg.

But it's the Germans who are back out onto the course fastest. Very impressive shooting from Philipp Nawrath.

Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen gets Norway into second place and Italy stay third Lukas Hofer narrowly avoiding a penalty lap, hitting his final target with his penultimate share round.

France are right behind them now, though.

Right, here we go. The final of the women's parallel giant slalom.

Austria's Sabine Payer missed the 2018 Olympic Games because of injury and was ruled out of 2022 because of Covid.

    Is 2026 her year?

Czech rider Zuzana Maderova stands in her way.

    Off they go...

  12. Norway lead after first legpublished at 13:23 GMT

    Biathlon - mixed 4x6km relay

Defending champions Norway have moved ahead after the first leg, helped by a flawless shooting display from Martin Uldal.

Italy have dropped to third after Tommaso Giacomel had to use his spare rounds on the shooting range.

It could have been worse, Sweden's Sebastian Samuelsson had a nightmare on the range, failing to hit his targets and subsequently having to do two penalty loops.

From just a second behind the leaders, the Swedes are now a minute and a half back.

But who will the Korean face? Time for the second semi-final.

Elisa Caffont got off to a great start, but Zuzana Maderova absolutely powered down the rest of the course and she finishes 0.45 seconds ahead of the Italian.

The Czech rider punches the air as she secures her spot in the gold-medal final.

So it will be an all-Italian match-up for bronze, with Lucia Dalmasso taking on Caffont.
