Team GB's Adele Nicoll, lying 21st after two runs of the two-woman bobsleigh, speaking to BBC Sport: "That is honestly probably the one thing [touching the sides of the track] in bobsleigh which will kill all the velocity. The plan was to get on the left side to get a good angle into corner one.
"You see a small impact in bobsleigh is huge. It is crazy to say that at the Olympics I am still learning, but I still am.
"It is my first full season of competing with Ashleigh [Nelson] consistently. I am trying my best. I know tomorrow I can do some better runs for sure.
"It is not a case of finding a difference to make. I know what to do, and I have done it right a lot of times. Hopefully, tomorrow I can put it together."
Before our final medal event of the night, we have the B final.
This determines the rankings from eighth to 14th.
You wouldn't have expected to see Xandra Velzeboer, Elisa Confortola or Courtney Sarault in this B final but it's because of those crashes that incurred.

It's the start of the four-man bobsleigh on Saturday morning.
Comedian and TV presenter Romesh Ranganathan has wished good luck to Team GB's Brad Hall - who he used to teach in his former career as a teacher.
Ranganathan taught Hall, now 35, maths at Hazelwick School in Crawley.
Ranganathan joked: "One of my fondest memories was Brad saying to me: 'Mr Ranganathan, genuinely, you are a hero and a role model, and I am going to compete for Team GB as a direct result of your influence'."
Jane Hall said her stepson took Ranganathan down a bobsleigh run in Switzerland last summer as a "pay back" for all the homework he had given him.

Team GB's Gus Kenworthy, speaking to BBC Sport about self-funding himself for the Games: "I am really proud of myself. In the past Olympics, I have gone through the motions because it was what I have been doing.
"I have also had the support of national teams, the US team and the GB team.
"This time I had no support. It was a deliberate decision to come out of retirement and spend as much money as I have spent to hire a coach and do this and travel and go to the camps and pay for all the registrations.
"I am proud of myself for doing it and for making it here and putting a run down in the final. It is not what I wanted, but onwards and upwards."
