Men's skeleton: GB's Matt Weston wins gold
Great Britain's skeleton gold medallist Matt Weston talking to BBC Sport: "I don't know whether it is real. It feels like a bit of a blur to be honest. I've been looking at the photos since they released the medals and that's all I've been working towards - me, the team, they've all got a slice of this medal. Thank God it is so heavy because it is going to have to go round! I don't know how to describe the feeling - how do you describe the feeling that I've just become Olympic champion?
"That last run felt pretty nice. There are still things I'd like to tidy up. I am very much a perfectionist - that's what has given me to get this far and to have the success that I have. It is that constant of picking up of little things. To say I got four track records in a row is pretty crazy - I only found out that last one was a track record in the last interview I did. It has been a bit of a whirlwind. I was too busy crying to see the numbers!
"People back at home, they are the rock that have kept me going. Skeleton isn't a glamorous sport - we don't get paid like footballers do but we make the most of it. When I'm away for six months of the year, my fiance is one that is there supporting me whether I've won, lost, crashed, set a track record. My whole family to be honest, everyone back home, I love you all and thank you so much.
"Just grab any opportunity with both hands Nine years ago I wasn't even involved with this sport and now I'm Olympic champion and two-time world champion. You've got to take every opportunity you can and try and make the most of it and you might be here chatting to BBC as well!"

I am absolutely STUNNED by what happened to Ilia Malinin tonight. What an incredible fall from grace. I thought he was nailed on gold.

What on EARTH is going on over there? Falls left and right in that final group. Malinin doesn’t get the medal we’d all pre-emptively handed him. Well done Mikhail Shaidorov for holding your nerve and delivering!
Ilia Malinin's free skate was the 15th best of the night. His free skate earned just 156.33 points, over 40 points behind champion Mikhail Shaidorov's.

No one has ever seen this from him Ilia Malinin. When he executes, you can see how easy it is for him. There's so many questions about those elements that are being reviewed. Underrotated which caused the fall. Even the landing of the backflip wasn't the best.
Ilia Malinin is in eighth. This is taking some computing from everybody. The quadgod has fallen. Beaten for the first time in two years, the gold that was supposed to be his.
That was supposed to be the most predictable gold of this games but Ilia Malinin has fallen to eighth.
