That's all from us tonight as Bath celebrate a big win that sees them top the pool.

They will be back at The Rec in front of their own supporters in the round of 16 come spring time.

Johann van Graan's men looked mightily impressive tonight and have to be in the conversation when it comes to contenders this season.

As for Edinburgh, they have to wait and see what the weekend's results bring to find out if they are going through as well.

Join us tomorrow afternoon when we have another busy day of Champions Cup rugby to enjoy!

  2. 'They were hot tonight'published at 22:21 GMT 16 January

    FT: Bath 63-10 Edinburgh

Edinburgh head coach Sean Everitt speaking to Premier Sports:

"They were hot tonight and made us pay for every mistake. I thought we fought gallantly in the first half but allowed them too many entries and we couldn’t keep them out.

"The set-piece did settle as the game went on but we gave them too much front foot ball and with the backs they have are dangerous.

"Disappointed with the score but the boys did fight. There’s always positives you can take, the youngsters did well so some pleasing individual performances but we got banged by a more powerful team tonight.”

  4. 'I’ll take nine tries at home'published at 22:18 GMT 16 January

    FT: Bath 63-10 Edinburgh

Bath director of rugby Johann van Graan speaking to Premier Sports:

"Our discipline was really good and once the bonus point was won we finished the second half really well with our impact players, it was clinical.

"One or two things to work on but I’ll take nine tries at home. There's still loads in us, the intent is there to play and defensively we were good.

"We kept them scoreless in the second half so a really all-round performance from us. Home knockout game is massive for the club."

  5. 'The boys love playing here'published at 22:13 GMT 16 January

    FT: Bath 63-10 Edinburgh

Bath scrum-half Ben Spencer speaking to Premier Sports:

"It was brilliant. We’ve had a few pretty tough games so it was nice to finish with a good win.

"We spoke this week about what happens next in this competition, whether we are at home or on the road. It’s big for the club, the boys love playing here in front of these fans.

"The backs got a bit of a rocket at half-time, we let things get a bit loose in the first half but for us it was about structure and getting quick ball in the second half and we saw the results."

Barbeary must be in line for an England squad recall. Ojomoh must be a shoo-in.

To answer your question Richard, yes Alfie Barbeary did win man of the match again!

He was up against some strong competition today for that accolade as Bath were excellent all over the pitch.

Bath have made a massive declaration of their intent to win this competition tonight. Very impressive indeed.

    Rich, Cornwall

I hate to say it but it is increasingly difficult to support Edinburgh. Another weak performance tonight and struggling in the league, again.

    Andrew, Gullane

Is Alfie Barbeary going to win player of the match yet again? Always putting Bath on the front foot and lays the ball back on a silver tray for his scrum-half every time!

    FT: Bath 63-10 Edinburgh

Bath centre Ollie Lawrence, speaking to Premier Sports:

"We challenged ourselves to get back to playing rugby like we did last season. At 28-10 at half-time that’s a scoreline where Edinburgh can get back in the game but we said we wanted to punish them and managed to put 63 points on them so we’re happy.

"It wasn’t a complete performance but we’ll certainly take it.

"We all respect each other and get on well as a group. We get behind each other."

  11. 'We came out flying'published at 21:53 GMT 16 January

    FT: Bath 63-10 Edinburgh

Bath number eight and man of the match, Alfie Barbeary, speaking to Premier Sports:

"We had a hunger for this game and wanted a home game in the knockout stage so that was the big thing for us.

"We came out flying and the result showed.

"Can’t wait [for the next round] we’ll see who we get and where the pool ends up and go from there."

You can laugh at that when you're 50 points up I suppose!

Dan Frost breaks at pace and he unselfishly passes to Finn Russell who has a walk in... but drops it!

A real clanger but it matters very little at this point!

We talked at half-time about Edinburgh trying for a bonus point of some sort here, but they've not looked at all likely to get one it has to be said.

    Bath have totally bossed it.

    Max Ojomoh (con: Finn Russell)

    The try his performance deserves!

Moments after Henry Arundell almost scores a wonder try the ball is spun wide to Max Ojomoh who dives acrobatically into the corner.

The Bath centre looks like he's taken a knock, or it might be a spot of cramp, after scoring.

    Hopefully he's ok.

    Joe Cokanasiga (con: Finn Russell)

Another one - the floodgates have well and truly opened as Bath go over 50 points!

It's another try where any number of Bath players could have scored such is the space they have.

Max Ojomoh and Henry Arundell are involved again to send Joe Cokanasiga over for his second.

In the first half it was all about the forwards scoring, the second has been the turn of the backs.

    Henry Arundell (con: Finn Russell)

He messed one up a moment ago but he makes no mistake here.

Henry Arundell races over - that looked quite simple and Edinburgh do appear to be tiring so there could be more points on the cards.

Finn Russell has been perfect from the tee tonight - six out of six.

One of Bath's scores was a penalty try so he didn't get a chance at that one.
