Newcastle fly-half Connon signs new deal

Newcastle Red Bulls fly-half Brett Connon has signed a new two-year deal.
The 29-year-old has made 146 appearances for the Prem side after coming through their academy.
Connon is the leading points scorer for Newcastle in the Prem this season with 45 from nine games.
"I grew up supporting Newcastle and I've been involved as a player since the age of 15," he told the club website., external
"I'd love to be part of the change here. Everyone sees what the future can be here with Red Bull involved, and the positive work going on around the place."
Connon is the latest player to extend their deals after Alex Hearle and Ethan Grayson to go along with a raft of new signings.
