Even though he lost out have to say it is a joy to watch Norrie, he gives absolutely everything and has got the most out of himself recently, there are a fair few on tour more talented who could use his work ethic and mentality!

Cameron is such a fighter and shows great spirit. Zverev simply had the right shots and serve today.

Alexander Zverev was asked if he was happy with his victory: "Yeah, why not!

"To be honest, the last two matches were fantastic because they played really good tennis. Today, I think Cameron played the best match that we have played level-wise. I am happy to move forward and happy with the win.

"I actually thought I was serving bad but I was hitting my forehand quite big. That is the shot that is going to make me win or going to lose. If I feel confident in that shot and hitting it in that way, it's very important."

Cam came out with the right mindset, but Zverev showed why he is where he is in the rankings. He flicked the switch and the level went through the roof. From that point onwards, he was on a different level on the court.

Cameron Norrie levels the game at 30-all as Alexander Zverev sends a loose backhand into the tramlines.

And then another backhand error, this time from a drive volley. A bit of a needless shot.
