Remember 2007, when Djokovic, Federer and Nadal last all made the semi-finals at Wimbledon?

Well a lot has changed since then.

Centre Court has a roof. Nadal's long locks have gone. And Federer's natty white court suit has been mothballed.

But the sport's holy trinity of Roger, Rafa and Novak remains a welcome constant.

It's hard to imagine life at SW19 without them...

So here is what the men's semi-finals will look like.

Rafael Nadal, speaking to BBC TV: "Quick or not quick, I am happy to be in semi-final after a match against a very good opponent.

"I am very happy with way I played it. It was dangerous on serve in the first set but then I played great, the serve started to work better and better and, yeah, very pleased."

On fellow Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut also making the last four: "Very happy for him, he is a player who deserves something like this. He is amazing, how strong and passionate he is about this game. Very special for Spanish tennis."

And on facing Roger Federer in the semi-final: "It's great, difficult to imagine to be again in that situation but here we are. I am excited about the victory for today, but excited to play Roger again at Wimbledon after such a long time."

Charlene Beedie: And there we have it.....we have a Federer Nadal semi-final. Yeeeesss. Game on.

For the first time in history, there will be two Spaniards in the Wimbledon semi-finals.

Rafael Nadal and Roberto Bautista Agut.

Rafael Nadal has set up the semi-final every neutral wanted to see.

He's in phenomenal form.

It will be a seventh Wimbledon semi-final, and it will be against Roger Federer - in a rivalry that has defined the last 15 years or so.

The crowd whoops and whistles as Nadal takes his top off and swaps it for a jacket.

Querrey gets plenty of applause as he leaves the court, stopping to sign a few autographs on the way.

Ace. Two match points.

Querrey angles a rapid backhand past Nadal... oh wait not past, this is Rafa Nadal. The Spaniard gets there and pops the ball back over into the open court. 30-15.

A big serve from Nadal is met with a long return from Querrey. 15-0.

The Spaniard then serves and volleys but whacks the ball into the net cord. Oops. 15-15.

Fair play to Querrey, he's not capitulating.

Nadal can't return a serve out wide and goes 40-0 down.

Another ace, his 122nd of the tournament, and the world number 65 holds.

Querrey does Nadal a favour, hitting a backhand long.

The Spaniard serves and sets himself up an easy forehand winner. One game from victory.

Wait a minute... that door is open again.

Nadal's forehand is way wide of the mark. Deuce.

Querrey pries the door ajar as he goes 15-0 up, but then slams it shut as he hits the ball into the net.

A Rafa ace makes it 30-15.

Someone in the crowd shouts "let's go Roger". Luckily Nadal is about to seal his place in the Wimbledon semi-finals so is in a pretty good mood. He laughs it off.

That is surely the final nail.

Nadal hits a forehand winner past Querrey and is two games away.
