  1. That's all for tonightpublished at 21:15 GMT 30 October 2022

    FT: Arsenal 3-1 West Ham

Thanks for tuning in to our Women's Super League coverage today. It's been a hectic one with five games at once and then a cracker between Arsenal and West Ham.

Manchester United lead the table going into next weekend, but Arsenal's victory means they are only behind on goal difference and are hot on the Reds' heels.

League action returns next week and we've got some big games coming up - including Man Utd v Chelsea.

For now, though, I'll leave you with Emma Sanders' report on today's game.

Arsenal goalscorer Jordan Nobbs speaking to Sky Sports: "As soon as I came on I had a shot just before and it took a deflection. The next time I just tried to drill it low and hard and I celebrated a little bit early!

On her battles with injury: "It's been really tough. I've had a rough few years and the last few months, getting into this squad, I've just to keep working hard. Every time I've gone into training I've been thinking 'don't stop because that chance always comes'. I'm just glad I can take my chance. It's been tough but it's football."

Arsenal boss Jonas Eidevall speaking to Sky Sports: "We are fortunate to have a player like Jordan Nobbs. Once again, we see a player that has prepared so well even if they don't start or when they are called upon. They come in with quality and I think that's the difference today. We have players coming in just like Jordan [Nobbs] is doing, but I also think the three substitutes in the second half - both Lina Hurtig and Laura Wienroither also adds quality.

"I think Maanum has improved off the ball a lot especially with her pressing here over the past two seasons. You can see that she is playing with a lot of self-confidence at the moment. She takes players on and she attempts forward passes that really suits her playing style."

Interestingly Jordan Nobbs' goal carried a striking (no pun intended) similarity to Lia Walti's away at Liverpool last weekend.

That's twice in two weeks that Arsenal have been switched on from a corner to take advantage as the ball is cleared.

    Jenna Schillaci
Former Spurs captain on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

West Ham would consider themselves unlucky to get their goal crossed off in the first half. It could have been a different story, but they've got lots of positives and a lot of things to take and learn from. They've frustrated Arsenal for long periods of time in the first half.

I have impressed with how organised they are off the ball and I do think they will upset teams this season.
