    That was impressive stuff from Wigan. They had the better chances before the break and managed to repel some strong Forest pressure in the latter stages while also retaining an attacking threat.

    Three wins in five with only one defeat is a decent run.

    Thirteen of Wigan's 14 points have come at home this season.

    Matchwinner Jamal Lowe, whose goal was his first for the Latics, told Sky Sports: "It's been a long time coming but I have been getting in the right positions and thankfully it came today."

    Midfielder Joe Williams added: "We fully believe in ourselves at home and we need to start picking up points away from home now."

    Sabri Lamouchi, who was booked for having too much to say in the first half, manages to keep his protests on the right side of reasonable.
