“I’ve already experienced playing at Celtic Park as an opposition player, but I can’t wait to run out wearing the Celtic jersey and play in front of the Celtic supporters.”

  19. Aberdeen land goalkeeper Woodmanpublished at 23:50 GMT 31 January 2018

Aberdeen have signed Newcastle United goalkeeper Freddie Woodman on loan for the rest of the season.

England Under-21 international Woodman, 20, impressed during a similar spell at Kilmarnock last season.

The Dons secured the keeper after he was on the Newcastle bench for Wednesday's 1-1 draw at home to Burnley.

The signing of Woodman, who made his Magpies debut in their FA Cup win over Luton this month, follows Joe Lewis' knee injury picked up during Aberdeen's recent defeat by Rangers.

He will compete with Danny Rogers for the gloves at Pittodrie.
