• Scotland's Josh Kerr was crowned Commonwealth champion in the men's mile - 14 days after breaking the world record in the event.
• Jazmin Sawyers of Team England sealed long jump gold with a leading jump of 6.93cm.
• Scotland's Melanie Woods added 400m T54 gold to her collection after winning the drama-filled 1500m final.

• England secured silver in the 4x400m mixed relay.
• And England's Owen Heard sealed the bronze medal in the men's pole vault final after clearing 5.70m.
• Earlier on Saturday, Nathan Maguire and Daniel Sidbury won gold and silver for England in the men's 1500m T54 final.
• There was another English medal after Lawrence Okoye took bronze in the men's discuss.
• And Sophie Hahn won her second medal of the week, picking up silver in the women's 200m T38.

• In the velodrome, Wales' Anna Morris won her second gold medal of the Games with victory in the 25km points race.
• Her compatriot Emma Finucane picked up her third gold in the women's 1000m time trial.
• Neil Fachie of Scotland collected his seventh Commonwealth Games gold medal, winning in the men's tandem B sprint in a dramatic final.
• Henry Hobbs won gold for Team England with victory in the men's 10km scratch race after a nasty crash in the final lap.
• England's Sophie Unwin claimed bronze in the women's tandem B 100m time trial final.

• In the judo, Ethan Nairne beat Benjamin Levy in an all-English men's -73kg final to win gold.
• Northern Ireland's Josh Green claimed bronze with a golden score victory over Welshman Moore.
• England's Kelly Petersen-Pollard also won gold in the women's -70kg final, while her compatriot Jemima Yeats-Brown secured bronze in the same event.

• Team Northern Ireland boxer Jon McConnell won the men's 70kg final via split decision over Wales' Orlando Holley-Sotomi.
• Michaela Walsh and Kaci Rock sealed silver in the boxing for Team Northern Ireland.
• England's Ruby White, 19, suffered the first defeat of her career as she lost to India's Sakshi Sakshi in the women's 51kg final.
• Dimeji Shittu was also forced to settle for silver in the men's 80kg final as he suffered a controversial defeat by Ankush Panghal of India.
• But Sacha Hickey, Patris Mughalzai and Isaac Okoh all won their finals to add to Team England's medal haul.

• There was drama in the netball as Jamaica stunned defending champions Australia in the semi-finals.
• England will take on Australia in the bronze-medal match after they fell to New Zealand and missed out on a place in the final.

The mark of a great athlete is you win whatever type of race it is. That's the first time I've seen Josh win in that manner. It was a scrappy, tough race and he backed himself against the likes of Jake Wightman. He was totally dominant.

This was his stage, he wanted to come and perform on it and he did just that. He doesn't feel pressure.

Jazmin Sawyers jumps onto the podium to receive her gold medal after winning the women's long jump.

After the heartbreak of finishing fourth in Birmingham in 2022 and missing Paris 2024 because of an Achilles injury, what a moment this will be for her.

Gold goes to Australia's Kurtis Marschall, but the defending champion is not done yet.

He ups the height to 5.85m. That would give him the outright Commonwealth Games record and take him ahead of Steven Hooker's 5.80m from 2006.

It looks like Marschall has done it on his first attempt, but the bar wobbles at the last second.

It will be bronze for England's Owen Heard. He can't beat the 5.80m mark.

But he doesn't seem to care! He's just done a backflip.

That's England's 100th medal of the 2026 Commonwealth Games.

An apt way to end the athletics program at these Commonwealth Games. The Australians have dominated the medal table and there's another three to add to their tally.

Canada's Lucia Stafford ups the pace, with Australia's Jessica Hull and Abbey Caldwell following her lead.

Into the final straight... It could be an Australian 1-2-3.

Canada's Lucia Stafford was waiting for that. She was at the back for the opening three minutes, but she has just surged forwards and now she leads.

Sarah Calvert is still in the running as the bell goes.

It's been fairly pedestrian with the Scottish duo of Jemma Reekie and Sarah Calvert leading the way, but the Kenyans are sitting just behind them and they look ready to pounce.

Wales' Ava Lloyd, along with Scotland's Jemma Reekie and Sarah Calvert are setting the pace early doors at the front of the pack.

It's time for the final track event of these Commonwealth Games.

In fact, it's the first time we've seen the women's mile at the Commonwealth Games.

Can Jemma Reekie or Sarah Calvert follow Josh Kerr's lead and put on a show for the Scottish crowd at Scotstoun?

Wales' Ava Lloyd was third fastest in the heats with a personal best of 4:31.41.

England's Katherine Rednall comes through the tie break to beat Shae Wilson of Norfolk Island and make it into tomorrow's gold-medal match where she will face Ali Merrien of Guernsey.

A tearful Rednall needs a little fortune with a glance off an edge to gain the winning shot - she apologises to her opponent but the gold is still up for grabs with a silver medal at least guaranteed.

A wry smile from Owen Heard as he crashes into the bar on his second attempt at 5.80m.

One more try. With the bronze medal already his, he has got nothing to lose.
