Could one of these men manage Aston Villa next?

"I understand no one has been approached yet, but the leading candidates remain David Moyes, Nigel Pearson, Steve Bruce, Mick McCarthy, Sean Dyche and Simon Grayson, who played twice for Little at Leicester and Villa.

"All the favoured candidates fulfill the fundamental criteria - British and with experience of the Championship, although in the case of Moyes, that was more than a decade ago with Preston."
