What's interesting about this battle for the lead at the moment is that the top four cars are basically nose to tail.

It seems to be proving what people are fearing about these new cars, you get these frantic scraps in the first few laps when people are swapping places.

However, once the race settles down lots of team principals and senior people and engineers have been concerned that overtaking is going to become really difficulty at that point.

That's what we seem to be seeing with Hamilton, Russell and Leclerc at the moment.

I think that was fine for Max Verstappen going through Turn Two and into Turn Three. He did leave room and Pierre Gasly's car didn't leave the track.

This is unfamiliar territory for George Russell so far this year. All we've seen so far is him sail into the sunset with his team-mate Kimi Antonelli coming in second.

He's not used to seeing those red Ferrari cars stay in front of him.

I think he might be getting a little bit frustrated behind Charles Leclerc.
