    FT: Coleraine 2-0 Glenavon

    Colin Coates
Former Crusaders captain on BBC iPlayer

I don't think Higgins will be ecstatic with the level of performance and how they, I suppose, for 20/30 minutes in the second half lost control of the game.

At the end of the day, it is about getting three points and he will be delighted to get those in a difficult game against a team fighting for their lives.

  8. FULL-TIMEpublished at 21:35 GMT 23 January

    Coleraine 2-0 Glenavon

All over at the Coleraine Showgrounds where a goal in each half earns the home side all three points.

Joel Cooper fired the hosts in front midway through the opening half from an assist by Zane Okoro before sub Jamie McGonigle made the points safe with an expertly taken finish 11 minutes from full-time.

Glenavon had their chances, Gavin Gilmore coming closest when the visitors were dominating after half-time, but it's the Bannsiders who maintain their fine home form and keep the pressure on league leaders Larne.

    Larne 2-1 Bangor

Sean Graham bursts towards the Bangor box and feeds Paul O'Neill whose low shot beats Gareth Deane but whistles wide of the post as well.

The longer it stays like this, the more Bangor might feel they can still nick something from this game.

It all looks more comfortable for Coleraine now. Glenavon are probably lacking a bit of belief since the second goal went in.

That is a brilliant pass from Dylan Boyle and he has been fantastic since he has been brought on. He has given his manager everything he wanted, some control in midfield and a bit of bite.

Again, it is the quality of Coleraine on the break. They did it in the first half and punished Glenavon and now again in the second.
