Hannah Stewart scored the opening goal for Aberdeen

Aberdeen moved a point behind Motherwell in the SWPL with a 2-1 win over Iain Robinson's side.

Hannah Stewart struck first for the Dons, after hitting the crossbar the captain made no mistake with the rebound.

Carla Boyce levelled for Motherwell just two minutes into the second half at Balmoral Stadium.

Mya Christie stepped up with what would turn out to be the winning goal for Scott Booth's side in the 85th minute when she smashed in from range.

The result leaves the Dons second bottom of the table, but they're only a point behind Motherwell above them.
