  2. Rangers 'want to hunt' - Rohlpublished at 17:51 GMT 25 January

    FT: Rangers 3-0 Dundee

Rangers head coach Danny RohlImage source, SNS

Rangers head coach Danny Rohl tells BBC Sportsound: "It was a big, big win. Not an easy one, exactly what we expected. It was a good start in the second half. We were clinical at the end.

"You felt that in the stadium after the whistle the stands are full now. Big, big positive energy. It feels great with eight wins. We need these wins. We have 15 games to go, still a long way.

"A solid performance [from Tochi Chukwuani and Andreas Skov Olsen]. It's always new when you come in, you have to find your rhythm, you have to find your spaces, your team-mates around you have to understand you more. It's a normal first game but I'm happy to collect some minutes for them."

On the end of the transfer window, Rohl said: "Let's see what's in the market. The last, final week is coming. We have to make good decisions. Danilo scored, this is great. [Djeidi] Gassama scored. All the subs tried and helped the team. It was again a great team performance.

"It's possible. It's about timing. It's like dominoes. You have to wait sometimes, but if it's on and if there's a great opportunity then we will try looking for more players to strengthen the squad."

And, on the title race, Rohl commented: "I spoke about being hunter and this is still where we are. We want to hunt. We want to be on front foot. We want to win our games.

"If you do this, then in the next 15 games then there is a big opportunity there. It's still hard work to do. It's not easy to win games in this league. If you hunt, you can be successful."

  4. 'Rangers guilty of overplaying'published at 17:43 GMT 25 January

    FT: Rangers 3-0 Dundee

    Rory Loy
Former Dundee & Rangers striker on BBC Sportsound

It was a struggle for Rangers for large periods of time. They had opportunities and chances - Fernandez should score in the first half and they had one chalked off for offside.

It should and could have been more comfortable but it didn't come from sparkling interplay from successive wave of attacks.

For large periods, Dundee were pretty comfortable. Mikey Moore and Nico Raskin were guilty of trying to walk the ball into the net and the two late goals put a different refection on the match.

  5. 'We showed some courage but didn't create enough' - Pressleypublished at 17:40 GMT 25 January

    FT: Rangers 3-0 Dundee

Dundee manager Steven Pressley tells BBC Scotland: "One-nil down with nearly 90 minutes on the clock, I was still disappointed because I genuinely believe we're a better team than we showed.

"There wasn't a lot in the game. Rangers deserved, on chances created, to win the game. We didn't create enough. With the ball, we showed some courage but not enough.

"We've got some good players within our dressing room that are growing all the time. The lesson for today is we want to be coming to places like Ibrox and winning, and to do that you need to grow as a team. We'll do that over the coming months ahead.

"We can come here and get a result. We can certainly come here and cause an upset, but it was a step too far for us today.

"Hopefully the next time we come back here we'll be in even better shape."

Rangers and Dundee fans, we haven't forgotten about you.

Danny Rohl's post-match interview with the BBC has just been played out on Sportsound, we'll have the best of it here shortly.

The Ibrox side feel like the big winners today, moving into second and cutting Hearts' lead at the top to just four points by extending their run of victories.

For Dundee, they remain ninth after the defeat in Govan. Steven Pressley has been giving his reaction...

  7. 'We rattled Celtic' - McInnespublished at 17:35 GMT 25 January

FT: Heart of Midlothian 2-2 Celtic

Hearts head coach Derek McInnes is disappointed not to take all three points having "rattled" Celtic.

"On chances created and overall territory, it felt like we were the better team and were the more likely to win it," he tells BBC Scotland.

"It was a great free-kick by Celtic to take the lead, but we gathered ourselves well.

"The game played out the way we wanted. We unsettled Celtic, but we missed chances.

"We needed to hem them in a bit more and we asked for that at half-time.

"We are just annoyed that we did not stay 1-1 for longer and we have to pick ourselves up again and the goal is no more than we deserved.

"We are a wee bit disappointed that we did not take all three points. Most teams would have been happy with a point against a team like Celtic, but we rattled them today.

"Not often you see Celtic time wasting and trying to run down the clock. It shows the character to dig out a point without key players.

"To come back twice tells me everything. For us to be top for four months is not just a purple patch and we want to keep the whole thing going."

  8. 'Maeda contributed nothing second half'published at 17:32 GMT 25 January

FT: Heart of Midlothian 2-2 Celtic

    Pat Bonner
Former Celtic goalkeeper on BBC Sportsound

Celtic had to get through the game on Thursday night with 10 men and they looked tired.

I thought they should have taken Maeda off, he contributed nothing in the second half and he looked really, really tired.

That, plus the sending off, means they've done well to hang on.

  9. 'Never a red card' but O'Neill pleased with sidepublished at 17:29 GMT 25 January

FT: Heart of Midlothian 2-2 Celtic

Celtic interim manager Martin O'Neill is pleased that his side are "showing a great resolve" and insists that Auston Trusty should not have been sent off.

"It was a tough game - we knew it would be," he tells BBC Scotland.

"We scored a fine goal and were in reasonable control. They got an equaliser and the game was in the balance.

"We score a wonderful goal to retake the lead and the sending off has a major part to play in the final 20 minutes.

"I've seen it back and I have to say I don't see it. Maybe I've been out of the game too long or have misread the rules. But first of all, the ball that's played is going away from goal and we have a man round on the cover.

"It is not a red card. It is gone now, but it played a massive part.

"We fought magnificently again. It was topsy-turvy, it was tough. Hearts are up there in the league because they are a very fine side."

  11. Do the stats support Braga's view?published at 17:26 GMT 25 January

FT: Heart of Midlothian 2-2 Celtic

Hearts finished the game with a higher expected goals rating than Celtic and registered almost double the amount of shots.

Touches in the opposition box is the big one, though, 31 for Hearts to Celtic's 13.

But... 'only one stat matters' etc etc.

  12. 'We were the best team for sure' - Bragapublished at 17:22 GMT 25 January

FT: Heart of Midlothian 2-2 Celtic

Hearts forward Claudio Braga, who earned his side a point late on, adds on Sky Sports: "Definitely frustrated, it's a mixed feeling. OK, we came from behind twice.

"Nobody on our team felt we couldn't win that game, that's why there is frustration. We were the best team for sure.

"Not only because of our attack, but we were very secure from the back. We were the best team over the 90 minutes, we had more chances. That's why there is frustration."

  13. 'Frustrated' Findlay hails fightbackpublished at 17:19 GMT 25 January

FT: Heart of Midlothian 2-2 Celtic

Hearts goalscorer Stuart Findlay tells Sky Sports: "Celtic took their two chances and we passed up a couple that on another day go in, it's frustrating.

"It's always positive we can come back and show that fighting spirit. Yes, we probably did enough for three points today but a point isn't a terrible result.

"The gaffer summed it up in the changing room, the game was going the way that suits us. it was frantic and that suits us, the way we've played this season.

"We had that setback again and I can only commend the boys for coming back.

"With the Rangers result, we're four points clear. We can't shy away, we know where we are. All we can do is keep winning games of football and the league will take care of itself."

  20. Celtic 'delighted' with a pointpublished at 17:12 GMT 25 January

FT: Heart of Midlothian 2-2 Celtic

    Pat Bonner
Former Celtic goalkeeper on BBC Sportsound

The way the game panned out, Celtic will be happy with a point.

It's proof to me that they can't defend crosses into the box. Martin O'Neill has to get that right, because that is not in his playbook from his days of old.

Today, they looked so vulnerable from set-pieces and corners. They looked very tired toward the end, so they'll be delighted to get away from here with a point.
