As a Wolves fan, we're now planning for next season. Getting in Adam Armstrong is a huge positive - excellent goal scorer, and as for Angel Gomes, with no stipulation around option to buy, can play next season with us, £6m is a steal. He's proper quality. Grade C-

Wolves did well getting £48m for Jorgen Strand Larson. Doomed anyway, so doesn’t really matter. Fans will judge the owners next season in the Championship.

    Mark

Wolves 'B' - Given the circumstances, not awful... Cashed in on a striker in ice cold form and made some decent deals when looking ahead to the inevitability of next season in the Championship, but with putting up a fight this year still in mind!

Burnley -2/10. Shocking. Missed out on Phillips to a Championship club. Needed a sure-fire striker and didn't get one. Parker looks devoid of ideas. Maybe if ownership focused on Burnley and not other clubs we might see success. Relegation for sure now.

An E for West Ham. To be credible, an assessment of a transfer window must consider players moved on as well as players brought in. West Ham have moved on twice as many players as they have brought in this season. No surprise that they risk relegation.

Nottingham Forest. A. Strengthened at GK and LB. Didn't risk £50m on Larsen. Didn't spend £12m on a random Championship CB or an unheard of Brazilian player whom we then immediately loan to Olympiakos. Locked Edu in a panic room for 24 hours.

Whilst I’m happy Leeds didn’t pay the crazy money for Jorgen Strand Larsen, they really needed a back-up striker option and didn’t deliver on that. Buonanotte is an upgrade on Harrison, but Hammers have spent wisely whilst Leeds sat on their hands. Hope it doesn’t come back to haunt them.

An impressive trick to pull off, break the bank with two record transfers yet also leave the fanbase angry.

Crystal Palace's winter window proves that signings alone cannot keep football fans happy.

Crystal Palace - E. A woefully depleted squad at the start of the window has finished with the club captain leaving and more loan departures than new arrivals. A positive team spirit has become toxic thanks to the board’s inactivity.

    Andy

A tough few months for Palace, but bringing in Larsen and Johnson will (hopefully) turn things around. However, Palace must have already considered, or indeed approached, whoever will succeed Glasner with this sort of outlay? No point signing players that won't fit into a new system once the manager changes.

    Jonathan

D for Crystal Palace. Brought in two out-of-form strikers. Did not replace Guehi, nor provide cover for Munoz at right-back. Don’t get me started on lack of quality cover in midfield. Another Parish let down.

If we had a poll on the number of messages about a single Premier League club then Tottenham would win hands down at present. Shows the strength of feeling, if nothing else. Football = passion...

D, from a Tottenham fan. Gallagher is a smart acquisition. However, we need more firepower and more strength in defence. Would have liked us to have launched a move for Alexander-Arnold, who has absolutely flopped at Real Madrid.
