Leeds United

Leeds boss Daniel Farke, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "It is still not realistic for us to win the FA Cup. We started this competition with many teams, apart from us just seven teams can win it but who knows?

"If we show this level of performance against each opponent then we can live the dream a bit longer. The focus is on the Premier League but it is definitely good to have a chance to perhaps write another chapter of Leeds United history. It’s a good feeling."

On watching from the stands because of his ban: "Of course I had privileged view of the goals but I prefer to be with my boys to be on the sidelines.

"I’m pretty happy my coaches and staff have delivered. Another proof you shouldn’t over promote the role of the manager as the players have to deliver on the pitch."

Norwich City

Norwich City manager Philippe Clement, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "I think really good lessons from a very young squad. We are by far the youngest team in the Championship. They will learn a lot out of that. With the staff we will work on the things we can make better, collectively and individually.

"Also the reality is in our club we have 13 injuries. A lot of the players I’ve never seen play or train. That’s the reality. We are working hard to make sure we never come in this situation again and that we have a very good pre-season to improve our fitness levels and step up."

On if this will give his squad a taste of wanting to play in the Premier League: "They all have the taste, they all told me they want to get to this level. Watching a game is different to being on the pitch, a lot of them it was the first time to be on the pitch. That will help in my talks with them in the future about how to make things better."

Noel Perkins: Job done, more cash in the coffers for reaching next round, several “fringe” players got a run-out and we kept a clean sheet, while scoring 3! What’s not to like.

Leeds United

Leeds boss Daniel Farke, speaking to TNT Sport: "We were the favourites today but you only have to look at what happened elsewhere. Teams around us in the [Premier League] table rotated today and went out.

"I can't complain at all. Important minutes in the tank for some players and able to rest others.

"Sometimes it is OK if you have two or three changes to a team with core bones. If you rotate in nine positions you need time. We deserved to be 2-0 up. Second half the game-management could at times have been better but, in general, we didn't allow many chances.

"It was an important win for us. A win is always good for the confidence. The spirit in the group, everyone keeps going. Today some players had the chance to shine and it is important for us as a group.

"Apart from us just seven other teams can win the FA Cup. It is maybe not realistic for us. We are on a good path and we are looking forward to our upcoming games and important weeks for us."

Frankie: Canaries follower of 62 years here. Disappointed but not really surprised. Just thought for a while the omens were with us after earlier results in the day. Anyway, as I predicted yesterday, don't be surprised when Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and City are all kept apart in Monday's draw.

Norwich City

Norwich City manager Philippe Clement to TNT Sport: "There were ups and downs. For a lot of the guys it was the first time they play at this level.

"It was difficult to adapt to the intensity. In the second half we played much better, creating opportunities.

"It is a very young squad, three months ago they were playing relegation football in the Championship and I am convinced they will improve from this. It is part of the journey they have to take to get to this level where they want to be."

On his aims for the rest of the season: "To win every game. That's what I want to put in my team. I want to see an ambitious team and ambitious players. I am sure after this disappointment they will take the right lessons and learn from that."

Stoggs: Convincing result from Leeds. Norwich showed more in the 2nd half but I suspect it was Leeds sitting back on their 2-0 lead. Good support from the Norwich fans and I wish them well & a safe journey home from a Cambridgeshire white.

FA Cup

Teams still standing don't have long to wait to find out who they will face in the last-eight on the weekend 4-5 April.

The draw takes place on Monday at approximately 19:05 GMT - 25 minutes before the eighth and final tie of the round between West Ham and Brentford.

Asif: Great goal by Sean Longstaff and maybe a Wembley outing beckons. Still Premier League survival is of paramount importance.

Leeds United

Leeds midfielder Sean Longstaff, speaking to TNT Sports on his goal: "I didn’t know much about it, Gabby [Gabriel Gudmundsson] did really well to find us. I was more worried about taking a good touch. I just turned around and hit it and luckily it went in the net. Take whatever you can to score one."

On having a good run in the FA Cup: "It would be really good to get to Wembley. We still have to focus on the league and that’s probably the main priority but this is a good distraction. You get a good draw and you can get to Wembley. We are back to business in the league next week."

Leeds United were excellent. They approached the game in a really good manner - the attitude and the application.

We don't always get to say it but the difference in the Premier League and the Championship was on show today.

Norwich came here with nothing to lose other than have a go at them but Leeds, with the changes that were made, showed their Premier League quality.

With West Ham-Brentford still to come on Monday, six of the eight clubs in the quarter-finals of this season's FA Cup will come from the Premier League.

That's it. Leeds move into the quarter-finals of the FA Cup for the first time since 2003 when Mark Viduka, Harry Kewell and Paul Robinson were doing the business at Elland Road.

When you're a fan of any football team - the FA Cup is not a priority when you're trying to stay in the Premier League or trying to get promoted.

But guess what, winning the FA Cup should be a priority. When you look at the teams in the quarter-finals, there could be a trip to Wembley on the horizon.
