  1. 'Sobering' day for Kilmarnock - McCannpublished at 17:56 GMT

    FT: Falkirk 5-1 Kilmarnock

Kilmarnock manager Neil McCann tells BBC Scotland: "It doesnt help when you lose a goal in the first minute. We were beaten by the better team today, without question.

"I've got no gripes. Falkirk wanted it more, they were aggressive, up for it and it could have been more.

"We just come up well short. We faced a side that wanted it more, that won't be accepted. It's a sobering day for us and a reality check.

"We've had plenty of plaudits with how we were playing. But football is a hard game and if you don't turn up and play at your best that's what happens to you."

  2. 'Two points dropped' leaves Hibs hurtingpublished at 17:52 GMT

    FT: Dundee 3-3 Hibernian

Hibernian head coach David Gray tells BBC Scotland: "Very mixed [emotions], just due to the nature of a whirlwind game. To lose a goal with the very last kick feels like two points dropped.

"What's massively let us down today is the goals we've conceded. We were the better side but the defending has cost us.

"The players then showed incredible character to be 2-1 down, to then go 3-2 up. The subs came on and impacted the game.

"The players are hurting though. The story is that we've come to a tough place, scored three goals and only got a point. That shows you where we've let ourselves down today."

  3. 'No idea why VAR got involved' - Goodwinpublished at 17:49 GMT

    FT: Motherwell 2-0 Dundee United

Dundee United manager Jim Goodwin tells BBC Scotland: "Motherwell have only suffered one defeat in the league since the middle of October so we always knew we were going to be up against it.

"I thought the shape in the first half was really good, we denied Motherwell any real clear-cut goalscoring opportunities.

"The game is turned on the penalty decision as far as I'm concerned. Motherwell didn't have a shot on target prior to the penalty kick being awarded. I have no idea why VAR are getting involved in that incident.

"The referee didn't deem it violent conduct otherwise he would have sent Vicko Sevelj off the park. That type of pushing a player away happens 100 times in a game, every weekend, and today, for some reason, we find ourselves with a penalty kick awarded against us. Every week we're talking about VAR and the refereeing in the country and it doesn't look like it's going to get better any time soon.

"We go in 1-0 down at half time extremely disappointed because we didn't feel we deserved to be behind. The second goal was a real killer for us, terrible timing and that made life even more difficult."

  4. 'A point gained' for St Mirren, says Robinsonpublished at 17:47 GMT

    FT: Livingston 1-1 St Mirren

St Mirren manager Stephen Robinson tells BBC Sport Scotland: "I think it's a point gained.

"Any point away from home is a positive, we felt we could add three points, they had that one opportunity and score from it, it's a long looking ball into the box, we just didn't defend it properly.

"We had numbers there, so really disappointed.

"We concede from a big long ball into the box, oher than that, we scored a great goal, we hit the crossbar, we should have scored again when Dan [Nlundulu] went through and Mika [Mandron] has the follow-up and then the game's put to bed.

"Nobody comes here and rolls them over, nobody. It's a difficult surface, we know that, as I said, it's a point gained, another point away from the bottom.

"We looked a lot more solid, we worked a lot harder, we pressed the ball a lot better, so there lot of positives to it as well, we had some good opportunities."

  5. 'We needed Tynecastle to be like that'published at 17:45 GMT

    FT: Hearts 1-0 Aberdeen

Hearts head coach Derek McInnes tells BBC Sportsound: "The performance, when you look at the stats and how it felt in there, as if it was more than a 1-0 but we only get the one goal and that's the only thing we're really disappointed with.

"We needed Tynecastle to be like that. We needed to play forward, we needed to pass forward. We needed to try and put Aberdeen under stress. I thought we did that. We scored a really good goal. In the main, we defended really well. As a team, we were thoroughly deserving of the three points.

"Still a lot of football to play. Twenty-seven points to be won or lost. It's the business end of the season where everything gets decided and all we've done is put ourselves in a good position to try and take that on but nobody's getting carried away."

  6. 'A very much deserved point' for Dundeepublished at 17:42 GMT

    FT: Dundee 3-3 Hibernian

Dundee head coach Steven Pressley tells BBC Scotland: "It was a terrific game of football, both sides going out there to try and win.

"Hibs are a great side and have really good quality, but I thought for 80 minutes we were excellent. We did some great things and once we got our noses in front, we just lost a bit of composure.

"Credit to Hibs, they made some really positive changes and found themselves a goal ahead.

"But it says everything about our team at present that from a position of winning, to then being behind, we didn't give up. We kept going and going until that final whistle, and we got a very much deserved point."

  7. One of Falkirk's best of the season - McGlynnpublished at 17:40 GMT

    FT: Falkirk 5-1 Kilmarnock

Falkirk manager John McGlynn tells BBC Scotland: "It's got to be up there. It was a great start, we came out of the blocks flying. It's an own goal, but Calvin Miller's produced a bit of magic, and we build on it.

"We scored a goal we didn't get, then Barney wins a header at the front post, Dylan puts it in, then we get the third goal and we're cruising.

"Fair play to Killie they get a goal back and it's game on but then we score early in the second half and add to it.

"It's definitely up there with one of our best of the season. Great to bounce back from defeat by Hearts last week.

"The guys answered me today - they've run and run and run. There was a great tempo about the game and great entertainment for the fans.

"You can hear they're enjoying their football."

  8. 'We will get out of this situation' - Bartleypublished at 17:37 GMT

    FT: Livingston 1-1 St Mirren

Livingston manager Marvin Bartley tells BBC Sport Scotland: "I let the players know at half-time our first half performance was too far off of what I expect.

"But ultimately when you're not at your best it's important not to lose games of football and today we managed to get a point.

"My biggest thing with the players is mistakes are always going to happen, it's about your reaction and we just felt a little bit nervous out there today.

"It's seven points at this moment in time, nine games to go. It's something that can be turned around really, really quickly. We'll keep chipping away until we get to the split and then we'll see where we're at, but this team's more than good enough to do so.

"You know we will not give up. We will get out of this situation we're currently in."

  9. 'We gave absolutely nothing away' - Askoupublished at 17:35 GMT

    FT: Motherwell 2-0 Dundee United

Motherwell manager Jens Berthel Askou tells BBC Scotland: "It was difficult to play around them because of their man-marking. It was a lot about changing positions and counter-movements to open up space. When we got the ball down we played some really good football.

In terms of work-rate and willingness to run for each other, I think it was absolutely outstanding.

"The defensive discipline gave us full control of the game that was, at times, quite lively.

"We really deserved that clean sheet because we gave absolutely nothing away. We were on top of them, controlling the space in behind. It's great to see the players are just as hungry to keep a clean sheet and defend as they are going forward.

"We know that Tawanda Maswanhise is very, very hard to stop in open play. Eventually he'll break through and find a chance. He might have been a little bit lucky with that one but he had other opportunities. A top player and a fantastic young man who works very hard. We're enjoying having him here and happy the transfer window doesn't open tomorrow.

"What we are in the mix for is for you to discuss. We had a game plan today, we had to attack, we did that well and got a clean sheet and three points. It was a good game for us in terms of playing against man for man pressure and it didn't stop us."

This is the worst Kilmarnock defence I've seen. Clueless gutless, no organisation. They don’t look like a Premiership team on this showing

Livingston make it three draws on the spin as they continue their fight to try and avoid automatic relegation.

St Mirren should have been taking three points back to Paisley but failed to make their advantage count with the hosts ending the game looking more likely to win it.

Brooklyn Kabongolo's towering header cancelled out Dan Nlundulu's strike on the stroke of half-time.

Just seven points separate Livi and Killie now, with St Mirren a further three ahead of the Ayrshire side.
