Rochdale extended their unbeaten League Two run to five games with a 1-1 draw against Tranmere at Prenton Park.

Dajaune Brown's second-half strike cancelled out Tom Conlon's early wonder goal to continue Dale's impressive run of form while Rovers are now winless in their last five after a sixth draw of the season.

Conlon gave the hosts the lead on 15 minutes after Rochdale allowed the ball to go out for a Rovers throw-in, and the midfielder capitalised on that error by driving home into the top-left corner from 25 yards.

Tranmere ought to have led by more at the break as Tom Ince spurned a glorious chance inside the six-yard box before Dylan Jones fired wide under pressure from Aden Flint on the stroke of half-time.

Those misses proved costly when Brown latched on to Charlie Tasker's cross to tap home from close range on 57 minutes.

Ince then saw his long-range effort cannon off the underside of the bar as Rovers sought to restore their lead, but Rochdale hung on to pick up another point on the road.
