Substitute Desire Doue inspired holders Paris St-Germain to an impressive comeback against 10-man Monaco in the first leg of their Champions League knockout phase play-off tie.
The Frenchman was named on the bench at the Stade Louis II by manager Luis Enrique but was introduced in place of Ousmane Dembele midway through the first half with PSG two goals down.
The 20-year-old forward scored twice and had a hand in Achraf Hakimi's equaliser as PSG claimed an important victory in the first European meeting between the two French clubs.
The hosts - who inflicted defeat on Luis Enrique's side at the same venue in a Ligue 1 fixture back in November - took the lead inside the first minute when Folarin Balogun connected with Aleksandr Golovin's cross to head home from close range.
The lowest scorers among the 24 teams remaining in the competition deepened PSG's problems in the 18th minute as Balogun raced through on goal and slotted past Matvey Safonov for his 10th goal of the season.
PSG were offered a lifeline from the penalty spot four minutes later when Wout Faes bundled Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to the ground inside the area.
But after missing a spot-kick against Newcastle United in the final league-phase match last month, Vitinha was denied again as Phillip Kohn sprang down to his right to save the midfielder's effort.
PSG pulled one back in the 29th minute as Doue, introduced two minutes earlier for Ballon d'Or winner Dembele, drilled his shot in off the post from an acute angle.
The Frenchman had a hand in the equaliser four minutes before the break as his effort from outside the area was palmed into the path of Hakimi, who finished with a half-volley to score his first Champions League goal of the season.
Monaco's Golovin was sent off for the second time in four days seconds after the break for a reckless challenge on Vitinha.
The Russian forward was originally shown a yellow card, but that was upgraded after the referee reviewed the challenge on the pitchside monitor.
The visitors took advantage of the extra man and completed the turnaround in the 67th minute when Warren Zaire-Emery teed up Doue to strike past Kohn and become the first PSG substitute to score two or more goals in a Champions League match since October 2019.
The return leg takes place in Paris on Wednesday, 25th February (20:00 GMT).
