Coventry boss Frank Lampard celebratesImage source, Shutterstock

Coventry City boss Frank Lampard speaking to Sky Sports:

"Absolutely delighted, I thought we were brilliant tonight in a tough match. We get our two goals. Two is never a comfortable cushion, particularly against a good team.

"We were a threat all game whenever we attacked and even when they had the ball, the threat remained and it showed at the end of the game.

"Massive resilience again from the team and a big result for us."

On showing resilience for a second game in a row after coming from 2-0 down to beat West Brom on Saturday:

"These are tough games and they test you in lots of different ways. This group has got it and I'm delighted with it because when I came in here last year, people were questioning those things.

"I think they've shown, the group, how they've grown in the last year.

"At this point we've got great resilience and that's something that's got to continue."

Coventry City now have five players with four or more goals already this season.

Brandon Thomas-Asante (10), Haji Wright (8), Victor Torp (7), Ellis Simms (5) and Tatsuhiro Sakamoto (4).

Some firepower - and the reason why they've scored 19 goals more than any other side.

Oxford boss Gary Rowett told BBC Radio Oxford:

"In some ways, I'd say the first 30 minutes was as controlled and composed a performance as we've had. I thought we were very good. We dominated possession which is something you wouldn't often say for us.

"Really disappointed to concede the goal we did. At that point, I felt it was unfair to come in a goal down.

"Second half, fair enough, we lost our way for 20 minutes and had to make some big blocks. You feel fortunate to still be in it.

"But then we kept going. Such a competitive group, they won't lay down and accept these games. I'm really pleased with the character.

"It's a nice way to get a point at the very least."

Stoke City boss Mark Robins speaking to BBC Radio Stoke:

"I think comfortable over eggs the pudding. Because we started off so brightly and we got our noses in front in five minutes and we followed that up, it probably felt like that because we felt that we were comfortable.

"They had a real go at us and we were at that point, wanting more without taking too many liberties. Without too many tricks and flicks because you don't need to.

"Maybe an air of fortune about one of the goals. It's great finish, the first one, an unbelievable finish.

"We had plenty of opportunities, plenty of the ball, a clean sheet is brilliant but I think the story of the night should be Robert Bozenik coming into the side and playing as he did.

"He was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet a couple of times but I think his performance was really good."

Norwich City boss Philippe Clement told BBC Radio Norfolk:

"It's mixed feelings. Of course, very disappointed for the fans, for the players.

"We deserved to win today, I think it's clear for everybody at the game. On the other side, it's positive what they've shown after just seven days together.

"You see a team who wants to fight, who wants to work, who wants to go for it.

"We created chances to get two or three goals and then the game is finished. But we didn't score them so that's a work in progress for the future.

"I know there is still a lot of work to be done. The team knows too. But you see everybody is working hard."

Derby County head coach John Eustace speaks after the match against Swansea City.

Derby boss John Eustace has praised his squad after they beat Swansea despite injuries to the Championship's joint top scorer Carlton Morris and defender Dion Sanderson.

He shared his reaction to the win with BBC Radio Derby:

“Listen, after a real disappointing result at the weekend, not performance, I thought the performance was good. The way we lost the game was disappointing on Saturday but the way we’ve bounced back today was outstanding.

"Obviously we’ve had to make a couple of changes. Danny Batth coming in was top drawer at the back there and obviously [Lars-Jorgen] Salveson coming in as that nine today, he scored a fantastic goal.

"I think first half, with the players taking on new roles, it took a while to get used to it but then second half, we just did one or two things at half time and second half I thought we were great.

"We always looked a threat on transition and scored two great goals and the defence looked very strong.

"The group are confident. It’s about the squad, that’s something I drive, it’s about the 46 games. Every single player is going to play such a vital part in what we do this season.

"There’s always going to be injuries, suspensions and that results aren’t always going to go how we want them but what we will guarantee is that the players will be 100% in and they’ll be sweating blood for the club. I think tonight was a prime example of that."

Championship full table after games on 25 NovemberImage source, PA Media

Here's a look at the full Championship table after tonight's action then.

Coventry are on a 108-point pace with 40 points at the top and currently on track to break Reading's record of 106 points in a season. Long way to go, of course.

But below the Sky Blues, it's almighty tight. Southampton's win over Leicester means there are now a cluster of four teams in mid-table tied on 24 points.

Just eight points separate Stoke in second from QPR in 16th.

Oxford picked up a crucial draw to move two points clear of the drop zone, leaving Norwich five points adrift, but Sheffield United could climb above the U's if they beat Portsmouth tomorrow night.

Leicester continue to look utterly hopeless. All we can do is wait for January, get rid of a couple of players - I don't care who - and use the money to buy an actual goalscorer. We are going to join Luton with back-to-back relegations if we don't!

Ipswich Town boss Kieran McKenna told BBC Radio Suffolk:

"It was a tough game. I thought we showed the things you need to show in the Championship in tough midweek nights when you're not playing on the perfect pitch like tonight.

"You need to show the qualities we did. I thought our intensity was really good and the defending was really good.

"The only chances we gave away were some of the turnovers we made but the pressing was good, we made it hard for a good footballing team to get their moves going."

"It probably looks easier than it is. Tonda has given us so much, he's given us everything.

"He came in with his own ideas from day one. It just clarified for us, made it so clear. The spaces are opening up, we had a game plan tonight. Mad emphasis on set-pieces - it's paid off."

"We want more. I don't think we always played badly in the beginning, we were just unlucky... but now we are just clicking.

On whether he'd like to see interim boss Tonda Eckert get the permanent role:

"We are happy with him. He's going a great job, so why not? It can get a lot better than four wins in four games so give the man the job."

Joe Ward opened the scoring for Derby with a back-post header tonight and has been a creative force for the Rams particularly from set-pieces this season.

He's been talking to BBC Radio Derby about tonight's win over Swansea.

"Yeah, buzzing. It’s a great win. It was always going to be a tough place to come but we needed to bounce back and we got that tonight."

On coming back from Saturday’s defeat:

"Yeah, massive. It was naive from us the other night. A few silly mistakes and a bit of switching off but tonight we were solid. They obviously got their goal but I thought we were solid throughout and we deserved the win in the end."

On enjoying his time in goal contributions recently:

“Yeah, really, really enjoying it. It’s been a long journey. I’ve worked so hard. I’m still working hard. I’m feeling great and we’re playing great and as long as I can keep helping the team with goals and assists, I’m really, really happy and hopefully we can push on."

On Derby's ambitions now they are seventh, level on points with Bristol City in sixth:

"There’s no ceiling. We’re just going to keep pushing and see where we go."
