There it is.

Wolfsburg battled valiantly to take Lyon all the way to extra time away from home, but the eight-time winners showed their quality in the end to run out comfortable winners on the night and in the tie.

It's Les Fenottes who return to the semi-finals once again for a rematch of last year's final four match up with holders Arsenal.

My one and only gripe is, where was this half an hour ago Lyon??

Not like they didn't have a hatful and a half of chances in normal time.

That definitely puts this game to bed. It is wonderful close control from Chawinga to go by Johannes and wait for her time to pick out her spot.

Lyon are looking really strong now. They are just showing again the levels of depth that they have in this squad.

Lyon ran out 3-1 winners here at OL Arena when these two teams met way back on matchday three of the league phase.

Even that result on the night wouldn't be enough to take us to a shootout, only two Wolfsburg goals would.
