For the Eden Hazard generation, that's gone. For the Kevin De Bruyne generation and the Romelu Lukaku and Thibaut Courtois generation this is probably the last chance they have. I'm not took keen on Rudi Garcia as a coach of the national team.
There's been some good moments but they can't control games for too long. They've struggled against smaller sides to crate. But if De Bruyne and Lukaku come back to full fitness and if Jeremy Doku can arrive to the World Cup in good form, Leandro Trossard as well who's started really well with Arsenal they've got a good squad still but I'm not too sure about Garcia in this World Cup environment.
England
England boss Thomas Tuchel, speaking to BBC Sport: "Difficult group, difficult opener. Difficult group with Croatia and Ghana, two regulars in World Cups and two proud and strong nations. Panama, I don't know much about Panama at the moment but we will find out about it before the tournament starts, of course.
"For me, I'm only experienced group football in Champions League formats and the way to approach it was to always give it the biggest respect and to put all the focus into winning the group. It always seems difficult like our group now but we are confident and we will be well prepared when we arrive."
On if Croatia can't be underestimated: "Nobody should be underestimated. Of course, Croatia is the standout, they're the highest ranked team from pot two that we got into out group but listen, Ghana is always full of talent and can always surprise and has a big history in World Cup football, and also Panama will try to make the most in their underdog role. No one can be underestimated, everyone deserves the fullest respect and we can show that."
On if he preferred to play the highest ranked side first: "I had no preference because why would I worry? I cannot influence. The legends took the draw and this is what we get and what we have to deal with now. We know now our opponents, we know we will start late in the tournament if players are involved in European finals, hopefully."
On if starting later is something he desired: "We didn't desire anything we just handled the situation as it is. You get a little more days before and then you get a condensed schedule later in the tournament. Everything comes with in upside and downside."

In one way the strength with Kylian Mbappe being in such good form and that front four potentially being so good is we are relying on Mbappe.
If we have a game in the knockout stages where usually he's been outstanding, he scored a hat-trick in the last final, for example. But if he has an off day then I don't think we know where we have to go. Let's hope others can step up.
I don't think we have many weaknesses in this team.

A very good draw. An interesting group and it's going to be challenging.
Switzerland are a very tough team who did well at the Euros.
We played Canada and lost to them. I know Canada well having played there and they're an excellent team. They're ones to watch.
Qatar are beatable but they will be a challenge. It's a group I think Wales can do well in.
I'm very excited. Now let's hope we can qualify.

I know they lost the Nations League final to Portugal but they've been really outstanding since Luis de la Fuente took over. The Euros was great, even if England pushed them well in the final I think they were deserved winners.
And when you look at this Uruguay team under Marcelo Bielsa, for him it's a bit of an irony for him after coaching Athletic Bilbao for many years over there. He started well but the intensity and his very demanding side of coaching has tired those players a bit. They were humiliated by the US in the last international break.
Spain should beat Saudi Arabia and Cape Verde and top that group easily.
As you can see the venues are quite spread out.

The first game of the World Cup will be co-hosts Mexico v South Africa.
That was the same opening game in 2010 when South Africa were the hosts. It ended 1-1.
Speaking of France playing Senegal, here's highlights of when Les Bleus were stunned by the African side in 2002.

I spoke to Didier Deschamps not long before the draw today and obviously it's very obvious but every other head coach didn't want to face Norway from that pot three. That was the team to avoid and as the draw was going on and France being low in the groups and Norway hadn't come out, I was thinking this is it, we're going to have Mbappe v Haaland at the group stage of the World Cup.
The two who were supposed to be, and still are, on course to be the successors of Messi v Ronbaldo. That incredible battle two superstars can give to each other with Champions Leagues and Ballon d'Ors and World Cups. This is it.
It was written they would face each other. It's a game I would've liked to avoid for the French, and Senegal won't be easy either.
England play Panama at the World Cup. They beat them 6-1 at the 2018 tournament.

I think that's a really good draw for Wales. We've avoided some really big, tough European teams.
Canada, given they played that friendly against them, Wales will be looking forward to that one.
Switzerland are the highest ranked team in the group. They tend to do pretty well in major tournaments.
Qatar are by no means an easy team to play against. They're a quickly developing team and their coach is Julen Lopetegui.
Looking across the groups, to have avoided some really big teams, I think Wales will be looking forward to that should they get through.
Getting there will be very tough.
Typical Scotland, finally get to the World Cup and then find out we've gotta play Brazil twice. First in the groups and then again in the final...

We'll draw with Brazil, then lose to Morocco and Haiti. Facts.

Tough draw. Obviously, you've got massive teams in there but I dont think it's something we should shy away. It's the World Cup you're going to get hard teams.
We've faced hard teams before, so we should be going into it full of confidence, I think.
I think so many people and so many of the boys were probably saying before the draw came out, 'I hope we get Brazil', because a lot of us growing up playing Fifa and what not you've got that team, and whoever picked Brazil it was too unfair because of the players they had.
It's been like that for generations, so it's going to be iconic and it makes us even more determined to prove everyone wrong, and maybe be an underdog and what a story that would be to beat them.
Scotland midfielder Ryan Christie tells BBC Sportscene: "It's exciting. A tough group but one we're looking forward to.
"We have to go over there wanting to try and prove a point. We're not just there to make up the numbers. We're wanting to go and compete and get through the group phase.
"Two out of the three games are going to be massively tough and even Haiti, nobody gets to a World Cup without being a decent team. [They are] teams we're not used to playing.
"You can't ask for more exciting games. I'm sure me and the rest of the boys are buzzing for it."
Christie explained he feared he had "jinxed" Scotland's draw.
"Everybody's been asking me who I've wanted, I've been saying Brazil the whole week and then they came out and I thought, maybe I shouldn't be saying that," he said in jest.
"Brazil was one of my favourite international teams growing up. Hopefully, we'll get the chance, myself, to play them next summer."
Christie featured at the previous two European Championships and was asked what Scotland could do to do better at the World Cup after group-stage exits at Euro 2020 and Euro 2024.
"Probably head there with a bit more belief," he replied. "It's the same core of players that's managed to qualify for this World Cup. Hopefully, we can go this one step further this time.
"We go into that tournament a little bit as the underdogs. It suits us. Hopefully, these other teams don't know what to expect and we can surprise them a little bit."

Croatia and Panama. I'll eat my hat if England don't get through.

England should top their group and win all their matches. Scotland have a credible chance of being runners up in their group.

If you can see a smile on my face it's because I'm forcing it massively.
Brazil, you know you love it but every Scotsman's second team is Brazil, so we've got them and I love that. It's enjoying playing against Brazil. We should beat Haiti.
The problem is Morocco because I was there against Morocco in 1998 and I think we were favourites, at least in Scottish people's minds, and it was torture and we have such bad memories. It's left scars that game, maybe more than any of the other games and if you look at Morocco's recent run, it's a phenomenal run they're on.
