Lovely play by Crysencio Summerville as he runs at the Bournemouth defence, skipping one challenge to get to the edge of the box but then drives his shot over.

It has to be something special from there, and to be fair to Alex Scott, he has nothing else on.

Alex Scott has some space ahead of him as Bournemouth attack now. He isn't closed down so goes for the shot from distance, but it is straight at Mads Hermansen.

It was a really good start to this game with West Ham especially playing with plenty of energy, but that energy feels to have been sapped out of both teams now.

Just under 10 minutes to go until half time and we've got a bit of a stalemate here now.

It has a touch off James Hill and as soon as Valentín Castellanos gets the glance he thinks he has a chance.

There's been a few corner like that and he's won both the headers.

Tomás Soucek is booked after he slides in late on Alex Scott, who then seems to be rolling forever after being sent tumbling to the floor.

West Ham have another corner as Mateus Fernandes' free-kick is deflected behind off Evanilson. Jarrod Bowen takes the corner and finds Valentín Castellanos at the near post, but he loops a header over.

Bournemouth are just happy to keep the ball and have control. They could do with controlling the balance of the game.

It's a funny balance in the game as Bournemouth are looking like the home team. They've not quite come up with an answer yet though.

Jarrod Bowen looks to release Valentín Castellanos down the right but he might just have timed his run too soon and so it proves as the flag goes up when he collects the ball near the corner flag.

A cross is headed behind to hand Bournemouth their first corner of the game. Amine Adli swings the set-piece towards goal but it is headed clear.

Bournemouth have a free-kick some 35 yards from goal. Alex Scott sends the ball towards the back post and Marcos Senesi is there to head towards goal but it is a comfortable catch for Mads Hermansen.

A good spell of possession from Bournemouth now as the ball is worked to Álex Jiménez on the right. He attempts to send a cross into the box but Axel Disasi heads away.

Andoni Iraola is having to watch this one from the stands as he serves a touchline ban so it is Shaun Cooper and Tommy Elphick relaying his instructions from the dugout for Bournemouth.

Bournemouth haven't offered much attacking threat but they have the opportunity to do so now with a long throw. James Hill sends the ball into the box but El Hadji Malick Diouf clears.

You're feeling the energy is with West Ham. They're pressing high and know if they leave space for Bournemouth they'll play through them, so they're trying to negate that as much as possible.

Adrien Truffert will be a relieved man as he sees his header behind from Crysencio Summerville's cross just go wide of his own goal.

It has gifted West Ham a corner, but Bournemouth deal with it.

West Ham are pressing high and Djordje Petrovic goes long with his goal kick to try and beat the press, but the ball is headed back into the Bournemouth half.
