Dundee had long spells [of possession] and the game plan worked perfectly, I was really impressed with them today.

Dundee, meanwhile, need to lick their wounds and pick themselves up for a big game at Falkirk on Wednesday.

You have to say, if they play like that for the remainder of the season, relegation will not be a worry for Steven Pressley.

Celtic and Martin O'Neill can now look forward to the quarter-final draw, which takes place live on the BBC tomorrow following Stenhousemuir v Falkirk (19:30 GMT).

Celtic match-winner Sebastian Tounekti tells Premier Sports: "It was a hard one, we didn't play so good today. The rhythm wasn't there.

"We scored in extra time and we're through, that's most important thing. Maybe I haven't scored a lot or had a lot of assists, but I'm just happy I could help the team."

Fellow Celtic goalscorer Junior Adamu, who netted on his debut, adds: "Amazing feeling, I'm really happy to help the team into the next round."
