Boro need to get Brian Deane out of retirement. 15 players between us and the goal at all times and half of our shots hit our own players. Hoof it into the box and get your elbows out.

Will try and get this down to Kim Hellberg as quickly as we can...

Re: Jamie [13:15] As a Saints fan, I’m sure the fans of those following clubs are more than happy with that. A tough watch was travelling to the riverside and watching Saints have no block at all...

  3. 'Frustrating first half'published at 13:25 GMT

    HT: Middlesbrough 0-0 Bristol City

    Neil Maddison
Former Middlesbrough midfielder on BBC Radio Tees

Frustrating first half, but we've been on the front foot.

We're talking about putting the ball in the back of the net and you're just hoping we can give the fans something to keep shouting out.

The fans are right behind them, we've just got to have that quality with the final ball, but right now that's not the case.

Hellberg will be trying to get something out of them for the second half.

  4. 'Oxford must step it up in the second half'published at 13:24 GMT

    HT: Oxford 0-0 Charlton

    Peter Rhoades-Brown
Former Oxford and Chelsea winger on BBC Radio Oxford

We've not had the chances or possession, but I think United will go into half-time thinking they've done ok.

Charlton will be pleased with the possession but they'll be very disappointed they've not created one clear-cut chance in that half. United have defended so well.

We will have to step it up a bit in the second half, Mills will be the threat for us.

  5. 'A fair result so far'published at 13:21 GMT

    HT: Coventry 0-0 Southampton

    Steve Ogrizovic
Ex-Coventry City goalkeeper on BBC CWR

You can see Southampton have come to become difficult to beat.

They've had a few early opportunities, the set-play was the closest, but Coventry have slowly come into the game, getting in wide areas and getting crosses in.

0-0, and probably a fair result so far, I think one goal could settle this match.

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:18 GMT

As poorly as Bristol City started this game off in the first 15/20 minutes, their gameplan seems to be working.

As expected Middlesbrough have had more of the ball but have been poor in the final third.

Gerhard Struber will be pleased his side have kept the backdoor closed at the break

    And that is half time.

Not a lot to say, really.

We did have one shot, eventually.

Yeah. See you in a bit!

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Bristol

A Middlesbrough corner is cleared to the edge of the box which falls to Riley McGree who hits a low sweet strike but it's straight into the hands of Radek Vitek.

That'll be the last action of the half.

  9. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:17 GMT

    Coventry 0-0 Southampton

At the break at the CBS Arena we remain goalless.

It's been a half that really got going right in its final moments.

Southampton's Daniel Peretz had to be alert to make a stunning save to deny Liam Kitching before Haji Wright volleyed wide in injury-time.

It remains hard to predict who is going to break the deadlock in this one as both sides have looked threatening going forward.

    Good game, this.

  10. INJURY TIMEpublished at 13:16 GMT

    Oxford 0-0 Charlton

It has been a game of set-pieces so far, very little created in open play.

And Charlton definitely could have made more of this one.

Sonny Carey swings in an inviting corner and yet there's no-one going for it and it bounces in the box before being cleared.

We're in to two added minutes of one of the quieter halves of football I've watched recently.

  11. CLOSE!published at 13:16 GMT

    Coventry 0-0 Southampton

Coventry really banging on the door now just before half-time.

Haji Wright peels off his man and swings his left leg on the volley but his effort is a whisker wide of the target.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:16 GMT

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Bristol

Second booking of the game and it's another Bristol City defender as Cameron Pring is a little late with a challenge.

Not ideal having two defenders go into the book with a makeshift backline.

Every home game is a cut and paste at the moment, attack v defence against a low block. It makes for a tough watch.

  14. 'One of the saves of the season'published at 13:15 GMT

    Coventry 0-0 Southampton

    Steve Ogrizovic
Ex-Coventry City goalkeeper on BBC CWR

One of the saves of the season that one.

It was a lovely move and a neatly flicked header. There's enough pace on it to beat the goalkeeper, but it's a terrific full-stretch save.

I thought Coventry were ahead there.

  15. WHAT A SAVEpublished at 13:15 GMT

    Coventry 0-0 Southampton

    Stunning save from Daniel Peretz.

It's a wonderful cross in from the left and Liam Kitching must have thought he's scored.

His flicked header is destined for the far corner but somehow Peretz gets a big left paw to it and claws it out.

Phenomenal from the Southampton shot-stopper - that was the first shot on target we've had in any of the three Championship lunchtime kick-offs so far and it's come just before half-time.

  16. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:12 GMT

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Bristol

Before Radek Vitek's injury, Bristol City defender Noah Eile picked up the first booking of the game for dissent.

The Swede has been in the ear of referee Stephen Martin for the last few minutes and it looks like he finally lost his patience.

Could prove to be a costly one as the game develops.

  17. Postpublished at 13:11 GMT

    Oxford 0-0 Charlton

Luke Chambers sends in an in-swinging corner for the visitors but it's easily headed away by Will Lankshear in the Oxford box.

It's been that kind of afternoon, so far.

  18. 'Oxford holding off Charlton'published at 13:11 GMT

    Oxford 0-0 Charlton

    Peter Rhoades-Brown
Former Oxford and Chelsea winger on BBC Radio Oxford

It is a 0-0 game at the moment, the ball is rolling quite awkwardly in midfield.

When we do get the ball in midfield, Mills still seems to be the outlet for us.

We just have to keep defending.

  19. CLOSE!published at 13:11 GMT

    Coventry 0-0 Southampton

A beautiful headed touch by Southampton's Ryan Manning gets him to the byline.

His ball across is begging for someone in the six-yard box to get the telling touch but there are no takers.

Manning will be thinking where his attacking team-mates where on that one.

  20. Postpublished at 13:10 GMT

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Bristol City

Matt Targett swings in a fierce corner low towards the near post which Radek Vitek saves with his legs. He's momentarily down but he's back up and OK to continue.
