First-half goals from Joel Cooper and Matthew Shevlin secured a 2-0 win for Coleraine over Bangor at the Showgrounds, which keeps the Bannsiders top of the table on goal difference.
The hosts were on the front foot from the off and opened the scoring after just seven minutes.
A fine flowing moment down their left involving a number of players ended with Ronan Doherty laying the ball into the path of the supporting Cooper.
The winger, back in the starting line-up, showed great composure to control the ball to dispatch a low right-foot shot past Patrick Solis Grogan in the Bangor goal.
The home side doubled their lead on the quarter hour as goal scorer Cooper turned provider for strike partner Shevlin who had the easy task of finishing from six yards.
Bangor rallied in the closing stages of the half and former Coleraine midfielder Jack O'Mahony volleyed narrowly wide of the far post after a Reece Neale long throw was cleared to him on the edge of the Coleraine penalty area.
The Bannsiders came close to increasing their advantage shortly after half-time but Cooper's low left-footed drive cannoned off the foot of the post with the keeper beaten.
The visitors were much improved in the second period and Ben Arthurs was denied a ninth of the season by a superb save from debutant goalkeeper Ryan Schofield, sticking a leg out to deny the striker what looked a certain goal.
Arthurs went close again soon after but Coleraine finished strongly and could have scored a third through Jamie McGonigle, but he was denied by a flying Grogan save in the dying moments.
Coleraine at level on points with Larne, who defeated Glentoran 1-0, but the Inver Park side have two games in hand.
