Northampton Town goalkeeper Ross Fitzsimons has signed a new contract to run until the end of next season, with an option for a further 12 months.
The 31-year-old has made 20 appearances since joining the League One club last summer following spells at Chesterfield and Scunthorpe United.
He began his career at Crystal Palace and his previous clubs also include Bolton Wanderers and Stockport County.
"The quality of Ross's performances speak for themselves and he has made a big impression here, both on and off the field," said boss Kevin Nolan.
"We were keen to extend his time with us, and to secure his services for next season as part of our forward planning and we are pleased that has now been done."
Northampton are at home to Walsall in the EFL Trophy in their next game on Wednesday evening.
