Morecambe's transfer embargo lifted after debt settled

Morecambe have had their latest transfer embargo lifted after reaching agreement over a winding-up petition.
The petition was filed by KPM Groundworks Limited, one of the club's suppliers over a legacy debt relating to before the current owners, Panjab Warriors, took over last August.
The Shrimps have stated, external that agreement has been reached to pay the outstanding debt back in full.
The necessary evidence has been passed on to the National League and the transfer embargo has been lifted with immediate effect.
On the pitch, Morecambe remain 23rd in the table, six points from safety with only six games to go and on course for successive relegations.
