Exeter midfielder Cummins signs one-year extension

Exeter City midfielder Charlie Cummins has signed a one-year contract extension, keeping him at the club until the end of next season.
The 20-year-old made his debut for the club in the first round of the League Cup in August 2025.
He has since played for the Grecians a further nine times in League One, either side of a loan spell at National League South side Weston-super-Mare.
Cummins has started relegation-threatened Exeter's past three matches, including an important 3-0 win over Doncaster Rovers on Monday.

"I'm delighted to know that I'll be here next season," Cummins told the club website, external.
"It's been a big step up from what I was used to, but I've got really good players around me who have helped me a lot."
Interim manager Matt Taylor said: "Charlie is someone who covers the ground exceptionally well. He has the attributes to become a serious player.
"He is capable both defensively and in possession."
Exeter, who remain two points inside the relegation zone, are away to Devon rivals Plymouth Argyle on Saturday (12:30 BST).
