Exeter win crucial for survival - Taylor

Matt Taylor got his first win as interim manager since taking charge last month

Matt Taylor says Exeter City's 3-0 win over Doncaster Rovers was crucial in their battle for League One survival.
The Grecians ended a 15-game winless run that stretched back to 24 January, as Jayden Wareham scored twice and Josh Magennis also got a goal.
It was Taylor's first win since returning to St James Park as interim manager after Gary Caldwell left to take charge at Wigan Athletic.
The win leaves Exeter two points from safety, in the final relegation place, having lost at drop-zone rivals Blackpool on Good Friday.
"If we didn't win today we were too far away from where we need to be," Taylor told BBC Radio Devon.
"I think that showed in our performance. Doncaster have got the points they have this season for a reason, they've got some good players, but I thought physically we were right from the off.
"We added a little bit of quality, but just the endeavour throughout was what pleased me the most, and then we added the goals and the quality on top.
"Quality is not just the top end of the pitch. There was some quality defending in there as well."

Jayden Wareham's two goals saw him break the 20-goal barrier for the season
Striker Jayden Wareham continued to be the Grecians' star man as he took his tally to 21 goals in all competitions this season.
The summer signing from Reading has scored 18 of Exeter's 45 League One goals this term, but had not scored in his six previous appearances.
"Jayden's performances have probably warranted more in recent games," added Taylor.
"He's led the line so well and we've not quite been close enough to him.
"I thought we were closer to him today and that showed with the goals.
"But it is a collective. As much as he's the man with the tally of over 20 goals this season, which is incredible and fantastic for him and we congratulate him in relation to that, I thought every single man knew their role today, including the players who came onto the pitch, including the fans and the staff.
"We were very clear in terms of what was needed today - less talking, more action, and hopefully that showed."
