Doncaster sign Derby's Robinson & Barnsley's McCann

Doncaster Rovers have signed Derby County midfielder Darren Robinson and Barnsley defender Bayley McCann on free transfers on two-and-a-half-year deals.

Robinson, 21, had loan spells with Hartlepool and League of Ireland side St Patrick's Athletic during his time with the Rams.

McCann, 20, is the son of Rovers boss Grant and has been loaned straight back out to National League North side Alfreton.

Doncaster, who are four points adrift of safety in League One, host Luton on Sunday.
