Richardson 'selective' with Reading transfers

Reading have signed striker Will Keane on loan as their only January addition so far

Reading manager Leam Richardson says he will be "selective" with who he signs this January in an attempt to "build a culture" at the club.
The Royals have only added Will Keane on loan this January window, but Richardson has promised that will not be the end of their business this month.
"We are, (expecting more players to come in) we're working hard," Richardson told BBC Radio Berkshire.
"I'm very selective in what we add to the group because you can't say you want to build a certain culture and just add anything and anybody to the group.
"It's important that we pick the right person, whether that's character and as a player, so I'm very selective and If we can't get anybody, it won't happen.
"The easiest thing is just to assign people and bodies, I think we've got to be better than that as a football club, so we'll see."
This is Richardson's first transfer window since becoming Reading boss in October.
He has previously highlighted the importance of coming out of the windows in a stronger position than going into them, and reaffirmed that message this week.
Reports have suggested the Royals had turned down a bid from Oxford United for star midfielder Charlie Savage.
"We'll make sure that, just to reiterate, when we come out of this window we're stronger for it," Richardson added.
"We've got some good players so you'd always expect interest but we're certainly not a selling club, we want to go in a certain direction and I'll be strong with that.
"Everybody's got a value, we're not silly and we'll always have conversations regarding every one of our players whether they're 18 or whether they're 36."
Reading are back in action on Saturday when they visit Leyton Orient.
