Which Premier League teams will lose most players to Afcon?

- Published
The Africa Cup of Nations kicks off earlier than usual this year - with up to 14 Premier League clubs set to be affected by players jetting off to host country Morocco.
The tournament runs from 21 December until 18 January.
Players have to report for duty on Monday, 15 December - but Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim said his club are holding talks in an effort to allow their Afcon internationals to feature against Bournemouth that night.
Players could miss up to six, or in some cases seven, Premier League matches - plus FA Cup and Carabao Cup games - if they reach the final.
The group stages end on 31 December, so quickly eliminated players may only miss half that amount.
Sunderland will lose the most players to the tournament, while Arsenal, Bournemouth, Chelsea, Leeds and Newcastle have no Afcon players.

Manchester United's Bryan Mbeumo and Sunderland's Arthur Masuaku are both set to go to Afcon
Aston Villa (1)
Ivory Coast forward Evann Guessand has been selected for the tournament after initially being named as a reserve.
He will now head to the tournament after Utrecht striker Sebastien Haller pulled out with an injury.
However, the 24-year-old has only started six Premier League matches - so Villa will be confident of coping without him.
Bournemouth (0)
Like Villa, Bournemouth will not be affected by Afcon.
Attacking midfielder Amine Adli missed out on Morocco's final squad. The 25-year-old has started only three Premier League match since his summer arrival.
Fortunately for boss Andoni Iraola, his star man Antoine Semenyo's Ghana did not qualify for the competition.

Liverpool (1)
Eighth-placed Liverpool will only lose one player to Afcon - but that one player is one of their greatest footballers ever, despite his recent omissions.
Mohamed Salah, who has scored five times so far in an underwhelming campaign, will certainly be in the Egypt squad.
Manchester City (2)
Title-chasing City have two players going off to Afcon, but neither have played all that much this season because of injury.
Egypt forward Omar Marmoush has started two Premier League games, with three starts for Algeria left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri.
Manchester United (3)
Manchester United's right-hand side will have a very different look to it over the festive period.
Cameroon forward Bryan Mbeumo and two players who have featured at right wing-back - Ivory Coast's Amad Diallo and Morocco's Noussair Mazraoui - are all heading off.
Newcastle (0)
DR Congo forward Yoane Wissa, a summer signing from Brentford, injured his knee on international duty in September and only returned on 6 December.
He missed out on selection, meaning the Magpies will have no players at the tournament.
Nottingham Forest (2)
Nottingham Forest have two players who will leave for Afcon.
Midfielder Ibrahim Sangare is in the Ivory Coast squad, while defender Willy Boly also made it despite his lack of minutes in the Premier League.
Both full-back Ola Aina and forward Taiwo Awoniyi were not selected by Nigeria. Aina has not played since an operation on his hamstring in September - and Awoniyi has not been in a squad this year.
Sunderland (6)
This season's surprise package, fourth-placed Sunderland will be the worst affected team by far with six players set to leave.
They are Morocco winger Chemsdine Talbi, Mozambique full-back Reinildo, Burkina Faso forward Bertrand Traore and DR Congo pair Arthur Masuaku and Noah Sadiki.
Senegal midfielder Habib Diarra has also be selected, but he has been out since September through injury.
Ivory Coast winger Simon Adingra and Cameroon's Blondy Nna Noukeu both failed to get call-ups.
The majority of them are first-team regulars, with 50 Premier League appearances between them this season.
Tottenham Hotspur (2)
Tottenham are set to have two midfielders going off to Afcon - Mali's Yves Bissouma and Senegal's Pape Matar Sarr have been confirmed.
Bissouma has not played for Spurs this season and had an operation on an ankle injury in October.
Mohammed Kudus will be available for his club because Ghana failed to qualify.
West Ham (2)
Struggling West Ham will lose both of their starting full-backs for a few weeks.
Right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka will link up with DR Congo and left-back El Hadji Malick Diouf is in the Senegal squad.
Wolves (2)
Wolves, bottom of the Premier League and without a win, will lose two players.
Defender Emmanuel Agbadou is heading off to play for Ivory Coast, while Zimbabwe's Tawanda Chirewa, who has not played for Wolves this season, will also be departing.
Nigeria striker Tolu Arokodare missed out after failing to score a goal this season in the Premier League.
Zimbabwe's Marshall Munetsi was also not selected despite making 13 top-flight appearances this campaign, scoring once.
Cameroon full-back Jackson Tchatchoua was also not named.
Chirewa has not played for Wolves this season, but the rest are all regulars.
