Crewe have signed goalkeeper Ian Lawlor from Doncaster and handed him an immediate debut in Saturday's League Two game at home to Harrogate.
The 31-year-old had been in his second spell with Rovers and was part of their League Two title-winning squad last season.
Lawlor has agreed an 18-month contract at Mornflake Stadium with an option for a further year.
A former Manchester City youth player, he made 115 appearances in all competitions for Doncaster and won five caps for the Republic of Ireland at Under-21 level.
He also had a two-year stint in Scotland with Dundee, helping them win the Scottish Championship title in 2023.
